Reviews
I really don't like writing bad reviews, but unfortunately I feel as though this one is necessary. I stopped by to just pick up some supplies for my saltwater tank, and what I saw exemplified the problems that a lot of pet stores seem to have. Here's a quick list of the pro's and cons of my visit.
Pros:
The customer service was pretty good, the cashier was fairly nice
The freshwater displays were absolutely phenomenal. All the fish looked incredibly healthy, and all the tanks were well tended to. If you're looking for freshwater fish, I would say this is a good place to shop.
The prices were pretty good as well. Nothing marked up too badly.
Cons:
In contrast to the freshwater, the saltwater tanks were nothing short of awful. On first glance, you'll notice a lack of substrate in all tanks save the display tank. The tanks themselves do not looked cared for at all, and appear to be an afterthought for the store, as they lack the basic elements of a tank. Excluding the display tank, every tank lacked substrate, live rock, and any form of decoration. The only additive was a small ball of macro algae placed inside.
One of the saltwater tanks had a dead fish that appeared to have ich. I couldn't say that any of the tanks had fish that appeared to be fully healthy.
In the cascading display tank located in the rear of the shop, there were several variety of shrimp all placed in one area, resulting in obvious fighting and a few damaged shrimp.
The shop was dusty, and seemed to be lacking in any form of cleanliness. Some items were unmarked, resulting in the cashier having to scan each item just to find its price.
Their bird care seemed rather nonchalant, allowing an adolescent macaw to fly into the door three times in my 30 minute visit. At one point, the macaw landed on my foot and started biting my leg. It took the employee almost a minute to remove the bird, all the while it was enjoying my jeans as a snack. While I understand that occasionally these things do happen, the lack of urgency in which the staff responded to any situation denotes that this was not the first time that these things had happened.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Overall, I would recommend this shop if you were shopping for basic fish freshwater fish supplies. With support, this shop can only improve. However, if you are looking for saltwater fish, or a cleanly professional experience, I would avoid World-Wide Fish and Pets at all costs. I will likely return in a year or so and see if they have made any improvements, but as of 2/3/18, I would not give them my business.
TL;DR: Good freshwater fish, very bad for everything else.

Disgustingly over priced, limited variety. Very disorganized. Every tank mislabeled. (not exaggeration) they get away w it cause it is the only game in town.
