This trip was AWESOME! My husband, 11 year old daughter and I did the 2 day, 1 night pack trip down Eagle Creek. We are casual 1-hour trail horse, dude ranch riders. This was a serious 4 hour long ride with a lunch break in the middle, both ways. We had no trouble riding. The horses were great and treated us well. It was amazing to be so far from people and civilization. Such gorgeous views! We are not campers but we didn't need to be. The camp site was wonderful and the Cowboys took care of everything. To watch them work was like watching a well-oiled machine. Honestly, in the beginning my husband was not too keen on spending that much money to ride. By the end of the trip he was thinking it should have cost more. There is so much that goes into this trip and the Cowboys worked their butts off. In fact, my husband would love to do this again for maybe a 2 or 3 night trip. I highly recommend this trip.

This was an awesome 4 day trip. Everything from the meals and food to the experience with the horses was amazing. the scenery is absolutely amazing and we saw tons of wildlife. Carl the fishing guide was excellent and put us in some of the best stream and river fishing I've ever experienced. I would definitely recommend spending a few days in the beautiful back country of Wyoming to any body!

Carl, the owner and operator of Boulder Basin Outfitters and Wyoming Summer Pack Trips is an exceptional guide. His knowledge of horses, packing, entertaining the quests with stories, cooking delicious food and showing the quests awesome scenery is something he truly enjoys doing! He has well-trained horses that will take you on a safe ride. On the ridge you might see a herd of elk, deer, wolves, coyotes, bears an maybe even a bald eagle. If you like to ride horses, camp and be with nature, this is a trip you should not miss.

Our trip was a nice adventure that we won't soon forget. The staff were all great and the horses were very dependable and safe. The trails are a little scary if you are afraid of heights(I was the only one that was). We went when the fishing wasn't all that great in the river due to it being a bit high but they moved our camp to a lake where the fishing was great. Food, service and lodgings were great and I recommend this outfit for someone looking for a great family adventure.

I could not have been more pleased with the pack trip I went on this summer. I was a little unsure of the trip, since I am not an experienced camper but Carl and Justin made sure I always felt safe and comfortable the whole time. I would definitely recommend them.
