We had a fantastic jerk pork and an amazing coconut curry fish bowl when we visited. If you're inclined to have their Caribbean food they encourage us to call the day before to make a special order.
I had always wanted to try this restraraunt because it had a unique appearance on the outside, so I walked in - the inside was equally pretty with jade curtains and a beautiful tranquil view! The owner immediately wanted to accommodate my family visiting from Alberta by staying open late the next day just for us! It felt like the whole place was ours. We also required gluten free/dairy free and she was happy to accomodate. The food was delicious. Thank you!
Amazing owners! Stayed open so we could gather with our family after hours.Personalised choice of music. The lasagna was fantastic! When it came time for dessert we were surprised with a large selection of chocolate cake and cheesecake on the house. Thank you for making us feel like family.
Their Jamaican selection is small on the regular menu, but if you call a day ahead they can make almost anything you want. The jerk sauce was excellent, I would have it on anything. We also had the seafood coconut curry and it was great. We will definitely go again!
Visited Yanni’s Grill today. Fabulous, fresh OUTSTANDING food from the well rounded menu. The flavours danced in my mouth taking me on my mini vacay to Jamaica! Yanni’s staff went above and beyond to make sure myself and my dining guests were well taken care of. I will be sure to return…you should pay them a visit too!
If I could could give zero stars I would. There was a clump of hair in my salad, no cheese in my mozzarella sticks and my friends Mac and cheese was so soggy and overcooked she couldn’t even eat it. The man working was kind and apologetic but the Jamaican lady that runs it was rude and disrespectful. After sending the food back we were not asked if there was anything they could do to make the service/food better, there was no apology.. and when paying cash we were not asked if we wanted our change. She simply took our money and walked away with a tip, which I proceeded to get back as we left. It’s disappointing to say how terrible this experience was because back when it was Duffers it was great service and great food. I will not be returning and i absolutely do not recommend going there.
Went to Yanni's Grill in Kelowna on Monday May 9th for lunch. We went there twice last year and really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and great food at decent prices. Today was a shock, I know that food prices have gone up but the price difference was shocking. Fish and chips used to be $18, today they are asking for $25. Same price difference with their Jerk Chicken. I had their special today, Beef Lasagna comes with salad and naan bread, usually $25, special today $15. I would have been very disappointed to be charged $25 for a mostly noodle very thin layer of beef Lasagna. My wife paid $28 for an Oxtail Stewed dish that was served over rice and a side salad. These exorbitant prices are like for a high class restaurant not a golf course grill. There were other people in the place but we were the only ones ordering food when we were there. We sure hope hope they haven't priced them selves out of business as we really enjoyed going there and talking with Keisha. We enquired and it is still owned by her and her husband Paul.
Cute little restaurant at the golf course. Their chef Keisha spelling? is so charming and sweet. She substituted our fries for a superb homemade Jamaican soup which we recommended she put on the menu. The whole culture and atmosphere of the restaurant glows with her personality. Everyone else was good too, but management - she's your superstar! A recommendation - the menus would be great with a couple changes - first, come up with creative names for the menu items that tell a story somehow. Capitalize on the restaurant personality. Second, add descriptions. It'll help to know what is included with each item. For example, the burger or wrap, mention what is inside each. And what sides come with what. More Jamaican food!
Great food awesome customer service nice presentation one of the best place in Kelowna to eat
Love the food here! I've always loved the space at the golf course and now it has a restaurant that makes it even better. Paul & Keisha are super friendly, their themed nights are creative with live music and prizes and the food is REALLY good at a reasonable price.
