Solid little spot, especially if your staying at the Holiday Inn nearby. Pizza is decent. Bonus star for an excellent beer selection, solid selection of local craft brews. That said, steer clear of the apps and salads. Pretty bland and basic.
Apparently great but too much salt. I ordered The Nat and The BBQ Chicken. I barely like the bbq sauce, too artificial. The nat was great but I need a lot of water to finish it. The good point is that you can choose the dough, they have some options white, wheat, gluten free and keto.
Saturday 09-01-22 “yesterday” at 12:15am I received my pizza to eat with a friend and her two minor children, then the guy on duty gave me the pizza at 12:15 am he told me without me asking that I couldn't eat inside because they closed in 30 min while there were people inside sitting eating, then he tells me to eat outside the place contemptuously and in a mocking way he also told me “my manager manager is there” and she made a very similar gesture she said the same i mean they were more interested in leaving than working . As a resident of the area, very bad service, I do not recommend this place, there are many more pizza options around, I recommend waiting for a delivery from other pizza place and you will have a better time.
Fast-casual pizza place. I ordered one with basil pesto sauce and feta cheese. It was delicious!Food: 5/5
I eat here at least once a week. They have some of the best pizza here. I usually get the personal size on a wheat crust with unlimited toppings. The thin and crispy crust is just right! They have draft beer and frozen drinks as well. The staff is alwats friendly and helpful. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free crust available for upcharge.
Salad was ok! The issue was.. we arrived 20min before closing. We were greeted by Max short red curly hair she told us that she was about to close so we couldn't dine in. She said she had to close early because that's what she was told to do Her attitude was extremely poor and rude. She was talking down to us, other customers who were trying to order, as well as Mark the other employee Max is not capable of managing a business on her own. She has zero people skills. Mark, however, was a different story. Even tho he was getting barked at by Max, he was still extremely sweet and helpful. Mark is doing am amazing job. Thank you Mark!
Came in on a Saturday night, there were 2 people ahead of us in line and the restaurant was not super busy. Got through the line and pizza went into oven. Waited a while and saw people that came in before us get their food, decided to wait a bit longer, and then we saw a staff member walking over to us after taking a pizza from table to table asking if the pizza looked familiar to them. When she got to us, we said it was ours. In a rude tone, she told us that they lost the ticket and was trying to find out who the pizza belonged to not sure why the rudeness when they made the mistake. They boxed it up and gave it to us, no apology for the wait or the mistake. Really poor service here, I don't recommend it.
Two words: not impressed. We came in at 7:30 PM on a Sunday not realizing the dining room would be closing in 15 minutes. I really wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt maybe we missed the description that dining hours and take-out hours were not the same. Overall - not a big deal. It was very hard to get their attention to place our order. Annoying, but hey, I’d be busy too if I was trying to close up for the night. I’ve worked in food service before, I get it. Still not a big deal. We wait. And wait. And wait. People who came in after us are getting their food. And we are still waiting. We come up to check on our order, and the guy Marcus doesn’t even remember that we ordered a pizza. Apparently, it had been done for ~15-20 minutes and someone put it under another name by accident. I’m not even sure they offered an apology. Super frustrating, but hey, it happens. Again, former food service employee here. The WORST part that made it bad enough to write a negative review which I really don’t like doing - we get out to the car and the pizza is hard as a rock, burnt in some places, and has almost no sauce which, for me, is not even worth eating. I get that the pizza is supposed to be crispy, not soft, but this was WAYYY overdone. Long story short - I ended up ordering from DOMINOES instead of eating the rest of this pizza. I want my money & my date night back. The only reason this place is not getting 0 stars from me is because there was a really sweet girl there who gave me a compliment & let me know about the neighborhood discount. Whoever you are - thank you for being a bright spot in an otherwise crummy experience. I really appreciate you. Recommendations to y’all: don’t go here if it is not during semi-peak hours. The service/quality didn’t cut it, and with so many other options in Midtown, there is no reason to settle for inedible pizza. Cheers.
I have to be gluten free and they were impressive in their steps to avoid cross contamination. On top of that the pizza was absolutely spectacular! I will definitely go again if I find myself in downtown Houston. Dietary restrictions: Great for gluten free.
Came here the other day for the first time because I had seen that they had vegan options. When I walked in there was one lady who had asked if we were ready to order, I said no as I needed more time to see what they had. I attempted to ask for a menu to see what they have since there's no menu on the wall besides pre-made pizzas, and she rudely shut me down exclaiming that what see on the wall is what they have and if I don't like that then look on the actual line to see what was there. It wasn't busy so I looked at the line of toppings, which were a total mess and looked cross contaminated to hell but had it have been busy looking would've been impossible. Another woman arrived to the front and while she was not outright rude she was yelling a lot despite the store not being loud, and the other woman from earlier was also quite loud. Perhaps they have hearing loss and yell unintentionally but it was still overstimulating. Eventually I settled on a vegan cheese pizza and vegan cheese bread sticks. Both were quite awful, not often am I compelled to gag when I eat but I found myself physically cringing at every bite, I had desperately filled up with my drink instead of enjoying my meal. The sauce on the pizza was a solid meh and the crust was also just okay, but the cheese itself was terrible. I know it's not supposed to be real cheese but it was both bland and had the texture of mucus and I'm not sure if that was the cheese's fault or if it was expired, but I've never had vegan cheese that appalling. I definitely won't be back.
