Zephyr On the Charles

This would have been 2 stars, but the food was pretty good... Deplorable "service". It honestly took 15 minutes before anyone even came to the table. Once we had a waitress she was helpful and friendly but rarely around and waiting at the bar for a drink didn't help. Menu is very small and odd, only a handful of non-meat options. The view and atmosphere save this place with great views of the river and the city. The only reason I can ever see eating here is if you stay at the hotel, have no transportation or ability to walk and have hours to kill for "pretty good" food...

I was really surprised by Zephyr on the Charles. The food was really good. Not what I was expecting from a hotel restaurant. The lobster Sliders are really good and the fish of the day which was a Mahi mahi was also really good.

Service was slow, and I waited some time until I was given a menu that I had to ask for by the way. Staff was quite rude. Food was decent however service and ambiance complete disappointment. For a restaurant to be in such a nice hotel, you would think it would match the standards of the hotel.

Nice view. Food wasn't bad but was nothing special; the menu is very standard American hotel food burgers, chicken sandwich, etc.

Nice Eggs Benedict with a view of the sun rising over the river. Pricey but good service.

I ate here on Mother's Day . The brunch was super. They had a great variety of foods and it was all so delicious . I was impressed. The staff was amazing everyone was so polite and attentive. I cant wait to go again

Food was pretty decent but the service was horrendous. Everything I asked for took days, they forgot a mere glass of water I ordered, and they even added a beer to my bill that I neither ordered nor received. So they forgot a glass of water I asked for but they remembered to add the imaginary beer I was drinking to forget how bad the service was. From reading other reviews they probably just don't care since people are bound to eat there anyways given it's inside the hotel.

Very nice. Some of staff was a little slow in serving. Food was very good but long to get.

Pretty good wine and food, the service as well. I ordered Risotto in the beginning but it is too salty to me and the waiter changed it instantly with just a apology. What surprised me was that the waiter even didn’t charge me the dinner I ordered later. Although the wait time may seems long, it was really a nice evening on the Charles.

I'm fairly surprised by the poor reviews for this place, very good food although pricey it impressed.
