Zingo's Supermarket

I used to think highly of this market, the fact that they are locally owned and have hired special needs kids in the past made it an easy choice to patronize and support. I go in tonight, approximately 6:15 pm or so, waited 5 minutes at the deli counter then realized only one person was working. I thought to myself, take a number, go get the rest of the items I was going to pick up and they should be ready to serve me once I get back. WRONG! Waited another 7-8 minutes and the kid was still working on the order for the initial customer, it must be said that she seemed NOT to have a complex order. At this point, after waiting 15 or more minutes, I said screw it. Newark Farmers Market , just 5 minutes away offers the same variety of deli meats at half the cost and half the WAIT. GOOD BYE ZINGO, A formerly loyal patron

Love this store. Best meat in town, very well trimmed, plus good sales. Never have to wait long in line. Wonderful for a quick targeted trip or to browse more slowly.

I go there when I'm in the area. Do miss the one on Maryland avenue. They do have good meats.

Store is clean, neat. Food is fresh. Employees friendly and helpful.
