Plenty of healthy and gluten free options. Quinoa salad with add salmon pictured.
We used to love this place! Always ordered the same thing, and always left full and happy. Things have changed here. Staff was mostly still friendly, but after a brief hiatus there was only one familiar face. Ordered our usual, with exception of the baked feta which they have taken off the menu : food was cold, did not taste the same, and was so salty I still can’t get that taste out of my mouth. Even the Greek dressing was different. I don’t know if they are under new management or what but this is no longer a lunch getaway for us. Hope they make some positive changes but I will not be returning.
Went to Zoe's Kitchen for the first time yesterday based on a coworker's recommendation. I really liked the clean, modern decor, the lemonade in the soda fountain. They have a lot of items on the menu and it was difficult choosing an item. I had the chicken wraps with pita chips and some moroccan hot sauce and my coworker dining companion had some rice bowl medley and all items were pronounced excellent. The staff is very friendly and ready to help.
A hidden treasure hiding in plain sight. I love eating here at Zoes Kitchen. The food is authentic to a Mediterranean diet. My favorite is the rosemary ham and fresh mozzarella sandwich with fresh greens. You may choose one side, which there is a variety to choose from. I chose the white beans. The chocolate cake is worth every calorie. I look forward to my next visit!
The staff is amazing and so polite! The place is also very clean. Also, don't even get me started on the food! Everything is incredible. Especially that pasta salad! Omgoodness... it is the best thing I have ever had
To start this off, what I should’ve done was give this place a 5 star review from the first time we ate here 1.5 yrs ago, then docked stars accordingly. However, if it takes an experience like today and drives a 2 star review, then it obviously it impacted two of your customers today. To start off and be clear we have never had an issue with the service the staff has given us, they are polite precise and cool accordingly management procedure. The food is the factor and we have been casually dining at this particular Zoe’s for about 1.5 yrs, and you can tell the decline in food/preparation quality. Today wasn’t our day to dine there, the hummus ordered looked pale and sad with a heavy chalky MyLanta aftertaste. So our food came the wife’s Greek salad and kebab looked amazing, once stirred the lower grade brownish greens made their introduction. The beef was cooked well but very bland even though it was “seasoned” with their house blend. So in goes their “dressing” no improvement, the dressing is supposed to be a sort of Mediterranean dressing and it clearly was a full bottle of olive oil with a crust of herbs at the bottom. Bottle said “made from scratch daily” below were the ingredients clearly some were missing. Not a drop of red wine, there was no separation of the oil or wine, it also had a citrusy lemon tang in there and now just straight up olive oil. I ordered the beef kebab plate with grilled veggies, tzatziki and extra pita. Same as above bland, I’m glad they have bottles of dry seasoning being offered for self serve....makes you wonder. The tzatziki was nothing but Greek yogurt and a few twinnings of dill.....not what it used to be bits of cucumber, some onion, a little lemon, nicely chopped dill...not anymore. Those days are gone. Just $1 and some change away from $40 is a hefty price tag for what was served today, not good. It is unfortunate to start directing elsewhere, for $40 and maybe a couple of dollars less for comparable menu items ordered today, in the same quadrant of Hilltop you have Baladi’s Mediterranean eatery, truly authentic. I don’t know if there was staff changes or owner change, a management swap....but for product quality it turned for the worse. For restaurants to stay open at Hilltop is a challenge, management might kick it up a notch or start caring if they wish to extend their tenure at Hilltop. Good luck, hope it turns for the best, but I don’t think I will be returning to find out.
I was excited about the Turkey stack, ordered it once and was disappointed. I thought maybe it was a just a bad run and ordered it recently for a 2nd time. It was even worse than the first time. There wasn't enough turkey to cover half a piece of bread, the bread taste like buttered toast instead of rosemary oil, half of the leafy greens were soggy almost slimy and the mozzarella is nearly non-existent. The menu photo and description always excites me and the actually product has been extremely disappointing. My co-workers call it the turkey-less turkey sandwich. I hope it changes, I would love to try what I see and what is described on the menu.
Love Zoës! I work close to the Laskin Rd location and frequent that restaurant for health yummy lunch. They are always so friendly, service is very fast not a fast food joint and my order is always correct. I will be a patron for years to come!
I had the Rustic Lamb Pita, it was very good! The store is clean with a nice modern atmosphere and the staff was very nice. My only complaint is that I wish you got a little more food, but quality-wise it's worth the money. Definitely a good place to eat for lunch!
Just “ok”. It took forever for our take out order. I got some bowl item with lamb meatballs. It was not good. Not my taste. I felt the prices were wayyyy too high for the quantity you get. Honestly? I won’t go back. Too many great Mediterranean/Greek places to go to that I KNOW I will love.
