A woman I spoke to on the phone. A few days earlier was excessively rude. And wherever we arrange for pick up of a leased item because we were locating out-of-state, and will not be able to take it with us. The pick up crew was bottom of the barrel. They were cocky, 1 Man, started to let up a cigarette before coming into the house. I had to tell him not to do it, because my mother has a life-threatening allergy. I don’t care what you smoke or not. You don’t have the right to go to SOMEONES Home smoking no, that’s unprofessional. Further the appliances that they were taking out, they did not handle with care. I do not know if they damaged or not. They were definitely far from professional. We’ve had to pick up some delivery, service company and other locations on multiple occasions and we have never had any issues with a delivery or pick up crew. They’ve always handled things professionally. This time they acted as if we were imposing. Even the manager was offended that we returned. It was only eight payments left ago. But we were leaving in the state and you’re not allowed to transport leased items out of state so I had no choice but return it. So all of this particular branch to Jonesboro Arkansas location is the worst errands I’ve ever dealt with
Staff at this location are rude and don't care about their customers. I was a loyal customer for over a year and never missed one payment. Yet they on several occasions will call and talk disrespectfully to their customers. Like they feel they are above them or they are doing you a favor because you do business with them. You are better of going through Wayfair. You won't get ripped off or have to deal with the rude people at this location. And yes I reported this store to their corporate office several times and nothing ever got done.
I was promised a Samsung 55 inch TV and got stuck with a 55 inch hisense TV instead which it has been nothing but problems to begin with I called several times and described what it was doing they told me it was new but on the back of the TV it says it manufactured in 2019 kept freezing turning off and then the picture would fade they never want to resolve the problem I paid over a $1,000 for a big paper weight and their repair coverage is a joke they try to avoid replacing or repairing do use Aaron's
This place is absolutely amazing. They worked so hard to make sure we had everything right then. I love this place!
They run your credit card when they are not supposed to. Ran mine 2 weeks in a row when my payment was monthly and wasnt due. Very unprofessional and rude staff. They do not work as a team and do not have it together in their office at all.
Well this store does not even need one star. My husband has a contract not myself. Our family has been Covid impacted loss of a family member. We have been in and out of town do to this and our own sickness. We had family at the residence one which was a minor and a few other people at residence. The Manager Derrick Williams stood by a no trespassing sign under garage and my family member did not know who he was or what they were doing there. She asked him to leave several times Derrick Williams told her “she was me”! She felt threatened and closed the garage door with him inside it. When she returned the garage door was open and adult approached him and told him to leave. He closed the garage door manually because it would not closed after Derrick Williams vandalized the garage door property. Ashley his assistant called me wanting to speak to my husband. I informed her what Derrick Williams did this morning. Which was this past Saturday when I was away She hung up and I called back… Derrick Williams told me over the phone that was me he was talking too this morning again . I informed him again it was not myself and I am not in a contract with him. Called corporate over situation. They came at my family member with hostility and very unprofessional. Do not do business with this company.
These people are horrible at their job they are rude they call every other day one saids one thing the other saids something else I swear if I decide to keep this over priced furniture and pay it off I will never rent from them again I will go to rent a center and do business with them cus customer service is horrible and all they do is lie and never on the same page at all
Great people. They made it so easy to do business with them. I went in for an air conditioner and ended up getting a washer and dryer also. Will definitely buy there again.
DO NOT RENT from the Nettleton location in Jonesboro, AR. Ashley is a poor excuse as an assistant manager. I called in my payment of $119 which I pay biweekly on my debit card. Ashley took my payment. I had other bills to pay by phone so after that, I checked my balance. Ashley charged my card $228.72. I called the store back immediately and Ashley answered the phone. I asked her why did she charge my card for $228.72. I could hear her typing on the keyboard. Without an explanation, she put me on hold. I was on hold for 11 minutes without her coming back to the phone to let me know anything. Everybody knows that when there is an upset customer, NEVER KEEP THEM ON HOLD that long without checking back a few times with some kind of update. So I hung up and called back immediately. Derek answered the phone. I expressed my feelings about this matter to him. He informed me that Ashley had already voided and returned the full amount back to my card. So why didn’t she keep me on hold without informing me that she had done so??? The answer: UNPROFESSIONAL and UNAPOLOGETIC!! Derek told me to check my account to see if the funds had been returned. No… they were not showing. So I decided to call my bank. No, they were not showing. After not being able to pay my other bills because of this catastrophe. I decided to wait until the next day to see if my funds were returned. NO.. Nothing pending in regards to the refund. I went to the bank and got print out of my banking statement and I went to Aaron’s to show Ashley. I asked for documentation to show me that she actually returned the funds. She gave me 2 receipts. The only words she said to me was I AM SORRY WE HAVE A NEW SYSTEM. A new system that she apparently has no idea how to use. Like her comment was supposed to make me feel better after overcharging my card so I couldn’t pay my other bills. She ruined my entire Memorial Day weekend. Oh and by the way… before I wrote this review, I checked my account. My funds are still not there. Perhaps she screwed up and put them in someone else’s account. She will blame it on the NEW SYSTEM!!
Horrible customer service. I asked from the beginning if she could turn the speaker down so I could hear her and she wouldn't. Went to order and they didn't want to honor the online special. So we told them it was fine we would go home and just order online. Placed our order online. Called the store 2 days later and they would never give us an update. Finally talked to the assistant manager who lied and said he was the gm. He lied and said there was IT issues to call back Monday. We called Saturday hoping for a different manager and he told us we could call the online department. The online customer service said the store DECLINED the order because there was an altercation in the store when we were in there. One thing the staff there is good about is LYING!!! What it basically is is immature behavior because we wanted to get a better deal just like any other person and ordered online. Also some discrimination against the fact that we were lesbians. So then today the real GM called us and claimed it was declined because the set we wanted was sold. Ok it doesnt work that way. My friend worked at Aaron's for 4 years. I recorded all 4 conversations between each individual. Terrible customer service. If you can just afford to buy I highly suggest it. We went to Gamble Furniture Sunday and got a full bedroom set that was way better quality. And they even gave us 15% off each item!! Ask for Jocelyn she will take great care of you! I have been a repeated customer with Aaron's with an excellent pay history and rental history. Never again will I give them my service!
