Advanced Program for International Dentists in Esthetic Dentistry at NYU College of Dentistry.
This program is a full-time, one-year clinical and didactic course of study, offered to dentists from countries other than the United States who seek to improve their clinical skills and knowledge in the field of esthetic dentistry. Emphasis is placed on the clinical component with a focus on a broad spectrum of modern esthetic treatment methods.
Upon completion of the Advanced Program for International Dentists in Esthetic Dentistry, participants will understand the complexities involved in esthetic diagnosis and exit the program with clinical competence in formulating and executing treatment plans for patients desiring esthetic improvement. Participants will have the ability to successfully complete a digital and analog smile analysis and recommend and execute treatment plans which include but are not limited to porcelain laminates, direct and indirect composite restorations, implant restorations in the esthetic zone, bleaching techniques, crown and bridge prostheses, and partial coverage porcelain restorations.
