Agave Bar and Grill

My wife and I were vacationing with some friends and ate here for dinner one night as a last minute decision. Honestly, we were very surprised with the food. Flavors were really good, especially for a tourist town. The staff was also very welcoming and nice. We were brought endless chips and salsa, which were good. We ordered the Table Guacamole and the service size was just that, for a table! It fed 7 people and we had leftovers! Flavors were good too, not overpowering! For dinner I ordered the Carne Asada Tacos. The portion size was perfect! Flavors were also good! My wife orders the Enchilada Supreme. She doesn’t usually eat her full meal, but this time she cleaned the plate! We would go back, for sure!

Really great spot. Our food and drinks were amazing and out waiter was awesome! Along with our waiter all the other staff seemed great as well. The restraunt is very clean and welcoming. I would highly recommend agave it was some of the best food I had while on Tybee. Parking: Plenty of parking

Visited here on Saturday with my boyfriend and, despite being understaffed, the food was extraordinary! My boyfriend even said that it was probably the best Mexican food he's ever eaten. I had the texano rice and he had a beef taco and burrito with bacon added! Portions were bountiful and our server was as attentive as he could be given the staffing level. Only recommendation is do not sit outside because the flies were relentless once our food came!

Good food and decent prices. 4 stars because they weren’t exactly welcoming. We sat down, and after a few minutes someone came by and put napkins and silverware in front of us. I said ‘Thank you’ and they didn’t say anything, just walked away. After another few minutes, someone else came by and put chips and salsa on the table. I said ‘Thank you’ and they didn’t reply, just walked away. After that, the service was OK, but ignoring someone that talks to you is kinda rude. Especially if you are running a business.

Agave Bar and Grill is a great place to dine and enjoy some delicious Mexican cuisine. The atmosphere is inviting and the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating, making it a great spot for lunch or dinner with friends or family. The menu offers a wide variety of Mexican dishes from tacos to burritos. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous; there's something for everyone regardless of budget! I had the fajitas which were cooked perfectly - they were juicy, flavorful, and simply divine! I also sampled their chips & guacamole appetizer which was absolutely delicious - creamy, chunky and perfect with a cold drink. Overall, Agave Bar and Grill exceeded my expectations in terms of food quality, selection, atmosphere, service and pricing. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for an enjoyable Mexican dining experience. Five stars!

i see everyone raving about this place all the time but to me it was just mid… chicken soup was pretty much just chicken and rice in broth and doesn’t look very appetizing. wouldn’t be somewhere that i’d love to go again.Food: 3/5

Delicious food, some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. I had the bean burrito and it was phenomenal and the portions were very large. The workers were also very kind. Vegetarian options: They have a specific section that only contains vegetarian options. Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu.

Really great food. The staff is very cool and the music suits the restaurant well. We enjoyed so much to be here. 6 stars if possible.
