DOC'S BAR on TYBEE

Stopped at this hole in the wall for a couple of drinks and a quick bite. I don’t know whether it was the super-fun-but-tacky Xmas decorations or the promise of people smoking indoors while we ate, but we had to give this bar a shot. Burgers were way overpriced at $15 so we shared some sub-par nachos instead think canned chili and cheese whiz. Bartender was more interested in the football game than with the 5 customers at the bar, but did get very excited when asked about weekly Jeopardy. I think I would have had a better experience had we come at night just for drinks hold the nachos when we could have interacted with other bar patrons. Not writing this place off just yet…

I love this Tybee bar. Good food and great bartenders. They have a brunch on Sunday that's very good, nothing fancy but tasty. They also have live entertainment on the weekends. The bar allows smoking but it wasn't a problem when I was there. Special shout out to Bama the bartender who makes you feel more than welcome. Stop in for a drink as you head to the beach.

Great bar by the beach hosting live bands. Definitely a hot spot on Tybee. Highly recommend.

Fun little bar! Great bartender and people. We all had fun watching Wheel of Fortune and everyone yelling out their guesses.

Doc’s is a MUST visit whenever I visit Tybee Island. A local’s favorite and one of the oldest bars in Tybee Island. A “Run-A-Way Bill” Favorite bar with friendly interactive locals. Whether you like Darts, Golden-T OR smile-riffic customers, you will leave with “more smiles than I came in with”. “Run-A-Way Bill” was here! 01.10.21

Great atmosphere with great drinks. Nice and cozy bar with plenty of seating.

Darts, live music, friendly staff, indoor smoking, great music, reasonable and string drinks. We loved it. Staff had excellent knowledge of the island and great conversation! Favorite stop on Tybee.

Nice little pub! Great burgers. Best waitress/bartender in Tybee! T-shirts!

We had an incredible time at Docs. Food was outstanding. Bartenders friendly, and bumper pool was fun!

We had a great time here! Cold beer, Willie Jackson's band... did not disappoint! We felt like we were at our old Downtowner and that is a compliment coming from us.
