Services Offered:
-Brain Stimulation Program:
More and more studies have shown the importance of exercising the brain to help maintain cognition as we age. Keeping your brain active is a key factor in healthy aging, just as we exercise our bodies we must exercise our minds. This program is specifically designed to stimulate brain function for the active senior, those with mild cognitive impairment, or early stage Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia by employing a variety of cognitively challenging activities. All activities focus on cognitive strengthening, maintaining and improving hand eye coordination, and using fine motor skills. Brain stimulation uses the five domains of theraputic recreation - physical, social, spiritual, creative, and cognitive.
Sessions are conducted individually or in a small group setting in either the clients home or facility.
-Geriatric Care Management:
Provides the process of assessing, organizing, and monitoring services in a system that is fragmented and puzzling for the elderly population. As care managers, we work closely with individuals and their loved ones to enhance the quality of life by providing guidance and ensuring stability for our clients. Our goal is to assist with overwhelming situations in order to relieve you of the stress of the complexities associated with social, medical, financial, and legal issues. Care managers assist individuals and caregivers in coping with demands and establishing short and long-term plans for individual clients. We assess each client’s problems and offer personalized service options.
-Healthcare Consulting:
Provided to long term care facilities and geriatric care related agencies and organizations. Services provided include health education and employee orientation, Alzheimer and Dementia care, stress management, behavior management, communication, policy and procedure, administration, start-up services, etc.
