So much to learn. Very hands on museum. The kiddos loved it. Animals to pet, and old schoolhouse to enjoy, and a farm to explore. Price is by donation.
Very well done facility. There is no entry fee but donations are accepted. There are also t-shirts/stickers/swag for sale for really good prices. The inside displays add a lot of information to excellent displays. The exterior displays including live animals, tractors, a school house and a kids area are fantastic as well. Excellent place to spend 30 minutes to an hour at.
Randomly closed during post hours. Tried to visit on a Saturday during the open hours listed here, on their website, and posted on the locked front door.
Josh was great, showed us around, provided info, let my 3 year old pet chickens and watch the pigs get fed. Great place, and offered intern and volunteer programs.
Wonderful place to take kids
Well done. Pair this with the antebellum house up the hill, and it is a solid learning experience. It was the best field trip my group took last year.
I had so much fun at my class on Saturday! Josh and Jordan made it very interesting and informative, and I got to play in the dirt!
This place is really neat. They have a working beehive, pigs, chickens, and a garden as well as a real one room schoolhouse and wonderful antique exhibits.
Fun learning experience during my son's education vacation.lots of hands on exhibits and very friendly and knowledgeable staff
Great place for a school field trip, they really teach the kids a lot of things.
