The Pendleton Historic Foundation preserves and restores two historic properties in Pendleton, South Carolina: Woodburn and Ashtabula.
Woodburn and Ashtabula Historic Homes are national treasures located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in beautiful upstate South Carolina. The families who built and lived in (or on the grounds of) these two homes had a hand in shaping the history of the Carolinas and the South as a whole -- for better or worse. Come experience the buildings, the artifacts, and the memories they left to future generations at these two very different historic sites.
