Alaris Health at Rochelle Park

I had a 2 month stay at Alaris and I have nothing but good comments about my stay there. From the nurses to the aids and everyone involved in my care they were all wonderful and I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who requires rehab. The physical therapists were all very dedicated too!

I worked here through agency plenty of times! I never had no problem til one of the Male nurses started being weird! I forgot his name but it’s start with an H, he looks Asian , wears glasses , and has long hair . He use to be in my face telling me how much I look like Alicia keys and Tamar Braxton, following me in rooms trying to make conversation! He seen I wasn’t interested and stopped SO TELL HIM HE’S LUCKY I DIDN’T REPORT ALL OF THAT WHEN I HAD THE CHANCE ! Anyways, one day we argued because he kept constantly telling me to do something I already knew I had to do , like literally he told me about 20 times even came into the patient’s room while I was changing the resident in 320 and told me again when there’s was plenty of time left. I finally finished all my patients so now I’m working on my POCs and here he goes again , trying to tell me again when the paper is sitting right in my face! So we bickered back and forth ! His excuse was that he was trying to go home but WE both leave at 7 AND after all of the times he already told me I WAS BEYOND ALREADY AWARE and there was still enough time left !!! A week later the D.O.N puts me on the DNR list due to another incident that he caused !!! I usually get up at 4 am to start changing my patients but I happened to start at 5 , I was running behind and at the same time I take my time with my patients due to wanting to make sure they are cleaned!! I already took accountability that I should’ve got started at my regular time 4am ! So in the midst of me starting at 5 I was on the other side of the hall cleaning up all my patients, around 6:40am I was just about to get to room 322 cause I had JUST seen her light was on but, she complained to him before I could even get there , I took accountability and told him I started a little late but that I was still going to get to her!!! Although he decided to give an attitude and changed her himself! I go in the room to ask her if she remembers me changing her at 2am because everyone is asking me did I change her for the night at all , in which I did ! and HE starts becoming aggressive! Then comes out in the hall and starts putting on a show for everyone telling me don’t come back etc ! At this point I think it’s more too it because why are you being so weird lately when you was just all in my face! Be aware of the creepy guy!! , he works on the 3rd floor south building!!! I just also want to say , The same the lady that complained was the same lady I only had twice out of all the times I ever been there and I’ve been there PLENTY of times ! With no complaints! Today was the 2nd time ! The first time she HERSELF SAID TO ME THAT IM THE ONLY PERSON WHO EVER CHANGED HER THROUGH THE NIGHT!!! EVERYONE ELSE WAITS UNTIL 5 AM, EVER SINCE SHE’S BEEN THERE !!! TO THE POINT SHE SAID SHE STOPPED USING HER CALL BELL LIGHT BEFORE 5 am !!! WHAT A SHAME!!!! SHE JUST BEING IN ALL HER PEE TIL 5 AM! SO THE D.O.N NEEDS TO BE WORRIED ABOUT THE PEOPLE WHO DON’T DO THEIR JOB AT ALL, RATHER THAN THE ONE WHO MADE A SILLY TIME MISTAKE!! BY THE WAY BEFORE THIS INCIDENT THE D.O. N EVEN TOLD ME HERSELF I WAS ONE OF HER BEST FROM AGENCY !!THEY NEED TO DO BETTER!!!! HOPE THAT CREEPY MALE NURSE DOESN’T TRY THAT WITH ANYONE ELSE !!

The moment I walk in the facility I felt a good vibe. Every one I meet while visiting my nice was very attentive and respectful, giving me a peace of mind by trusting my family members in this facility. Thank you all for the work you do.

I worked there as a Nurse Assistant and I had a good experience, excellent nurses and the Aids are very caring with our patients I left because of covid outbreak. I will recommend this place for your loved ones.

I wish I can write this review with minus 5 stars. My mother was here for one month the first night there they left her window open. No one came in to check on her all night she laid in her own feces all night long. It was November, so you know she must’ve been freezing all night. I find this completely ridiculous. This isn’t the only issue we’ve had there. The staff ignores their patients they run to the room to make it look like they’re doing their job when they see you coming .. I’ve come in to find my mother sitting in a wheelchair covered in her own vomit, and no one came to change her. I would not send my worst enemy here. Do not send your love ones here this place is disgusting. The attending doctor is horrible. I saw my mother on a Wednesday two days later I came back to visit found her on oxygen and not responding correctly. She look like she was dying and I’m not exaggerating. I got no phone call letting me know anything was wrong. I had her rushed to the ER after fighting with the desk for about a hour they didn’t feel that it was an emergency. When she got to Hackensack ER, my mother was found to have fluid on her brain and also needed emergency Neurosurgery that same night . I beg you please do not send anyone you care about here it is disgusting.and they don’t care about anyone but themselves it’s sickening.

This facility is very dirty and the workers really don’t care for their patients. I used to go to visit my mom in the morning, right after breakfast. The stink of fecal matter is unbearable. There is no ventilation of any kind. One time my mother fell down at 3am in the morning and the staff wasn’t aware until 8am being that they charge for 24 hrs service, situation with my mother went unnoticed for 5 hours. Cleanliness is another factor that this place really has a lot to improve: the bed sheets, the closests, the floors, the bathrooms, etc are not clean at all.

The staff is very friendly. The nurses are personable and make patients smile. The front desk is very helpful, especially John.

Please do not send your love ones to this place. Horrible bed manners both doctors & nurses misinformed nurses, very incompetent staff. I wouldn’t take a stray animal to get care there.

Best ever who take good care of our parents who carried us all their life and we can’t Cary them as well as you do, You do a job that no one can do for their parents it’s a shame for us as their children and it’s a glory thing that you do. I am so sad and sorrow that I can’t do much you are the real human being and children of those a banded parents are nothing but Worthless Ruthless Hopeless And Rootless May God Allah bless you all for what you do As a Jew As A Christian Or As A Muslim All these believers they just wants to talk. Very nice facility with pleasant landscaping. I visited a friend in the rehab building. He seemed quite satisfied with the care and staff. Valet parking is available as finding a spot on your own is tough. There are two buildings. One housing rehab patients, the other is a nursing facility. Each has a valet parker. Thw facility is a bit tricky to find as it's kind of tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood.
