Alfred Angelo Bridal

I was helped by Blair at this Alfred Angelo store and she was absolutely AMAZING. I have some insecurities, like most women I'm sure, so I had major fears about finding the right dress that felt comfortable and I thought I looked good in. Blair was so great through the whole process and made me feel so comfortable. I only had to try on four dresses before Blair picked the right one for me, and when it comes in I'll be able to make alterations to make it exactly the dress I want. I loved the experience so much, I went back one week later for bridesmaid's dresses, and my mom went back to get her dress there because she wanted Blair's help too!

Our experience at Alfred Angelo was incredible. They have an amazing selection of not only bridesmaids dresses, but also Mother of the bride dresses and flower girl dresses! We were very lucky to find all three for my daughters upcoming wedding! The staff and especially Blair is extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! You won't be disappointed.

My bridesmaids and I went to Alfred Angelo yesterday to look for wedding dresses. I found one that I love, and am very excited about. Ashley was wonderful and fun to work with and I felt like she cared about what I wanted and not about pressuring me into buying something. The store itself was well maintained and spacious and calm. The initial appointment was made for 2 hours, so we didn't feel rushed, and we were able to come back later in the day after we had visited other stores. The rest of the staff was also friendly and accommodating of our silly shenanigans and let us try on any style we wanted. They were also good at matching the styles we were interested in and listening to our feedback to find other dresses that matched our preferences. Ashley also tried very hard to stay within our budget, and helped me find a dress that I am absolutely in love with! All in all, the first appointment was a success, so we'll see how the rest of the process goes!

I came to Alfred Angelo after a very bad experience at another bridal shop and left the appointment feeling GREAT. I needed a dress two months before my wedding and came in not knowing if I would find one but Hector helped me the entire time and was incredibly positive. He listened to what I had to say, comforted me in my panic over not having a dress this close to the wedding, and even followed up after my appointment to check in and see how I was doing. There are so many more great things I could say but I'll leave it at: go to Alfred Angelo and make sure you work with Hector. Thank you Alfred Angelo, and Hector, for being amazing!!

I met with Sonia on a Saturday shortly after the store had opened. Sonia was totally dedicated to helping me find the perfect dress. We talked about my budget and the style of dress I wanted. She brought several beautiful dresses over for me to try on, and I fell in love with one. I purchased the most beautiful wedding dress and can't wait to go back with my bridesmaids to find their dresses.

I had a great experience. Hector was my stylist and he has a great eye for what is beautiful. Professional, very patient and amiable Hector is always willing to go the extra mile to make a bride happy. The store manager is also very kind. Thank you for the great help. Cant wait to pick up my dresses in April.

I went into this beautiful Bridal Shop as a bridesmaid seeking for the dress the Bride wanted and thanks to Hector it was all a great success! Not only was he attentive but he was honest and courteous. I visited two other bridal shops before this one and wish this was my first stop as it definitely would've been my last stop as the customer service from Hector was superb! When it's my big day this will be the shop for me too!

Good experience. Kate was great and very helpful. We were looking for dresses for my 4 bridesmaids and they gave us a nice space and 2 dressing rooms to use. Much, much better process and more professional than davids bridal down the road. The only drawback is that they didn't have a dress in the full "grape" color that I was really interested in so I'm having a hard time making a decision for my fall wedding. I would recommend them over david's any day!

As a plus sized female, I experience enough prejudice on a regular basis due to social constructs and general perception about plus sized bodies. Being in my friend's wedding should be an exciting and fun time, but walking into Alfred Angelo really crushed my spirits. First of all, I was not acknowledged as a person or customer because I'm not straight sized. The stylist, Julie, who was waiting on us, knew that I was a bridesmaid due to the conversation I was having with the bride and the other bridesmaid who was there trying on dresses. However, she did not ask me if I wanted to try on any dresses and only took out dresses for the straight-sized bridesmaid I was with. I had to personally stop her and ask her if there are plus-sized dresses in store. Only then did she even say hello to me, acknowledge that I was a human being and a potential customer, and head off to find some dresses in my size. Julie's word choices and actions made it clear that she has no tact when dealing with plus-sized females. I am a size 22 and she brought me some appropriate dresses, along with a size 16 in case I wanted to try it. That is the equivalent of bringing someone who is a size 8 a size 2 and asking them to put it on. She had to ask Hector, "with the strong man hands to zip you up, otherwise we'll be in here forever." She only brought in a straight-sized measuring tape to measure me, and then left to "get a bigger tape" when she couldn't measure my hips. She then brought in her manager to "double measure me." The manager was nervous and kept dropping the tape, making sure it was super awkward in the fitting room. I apologized to them for having made their day so challenging. As usual, me being plus-sized put someone else out. As usual, me being plus-sized had to become an obstacle and turned into an uncomfortable issue. The staff at Alfred Angelo did their best to make me feel like a second-class citizen because I'm not a size 8. I don't usually take the time to go off on tangents about every time I'm mistreated or someone tries to make me feel less-than because I'm plus-sized. If I did, I'd probably never get off of the computer. However, seeing the Alfred Angelo makes a *POINT* to emphasize their plus-size guarantee, maybe there should be some sensitivity training around working with plus-sized customers and trying to dispel some of the ignorance that clearly exists with their staff in this location. If you don't want to cater to plus-sized females, don't offer plus-sized dresses. Simple. What an emotionally trying morning.

Blair and the team at Alfred Angelo in Dedham are terrific! They have a great selection of dresses, both bridal and bridal party, they have an open, spacious store and they staff really knows what works well for all body types. They helped the full bridal party find the right dresses to make us look terrific!
