Authentic Hyderabadi food and flavors you rarely find in Chicagoland. They use FRESH fried onions in their dishes and their lunch and weekend specials are awesome! Staff and owner are super friendly, will be going back for sure.
I will never go to this place again. Not welcoming at all. I ordered a mutton biriyani. Then I asked him if he can make it spicy. He said no. Then I wanted to order a chicken korma. He said they dont have it. So I ended up ordering a chicken biriyani and mutton biriyani only because I was really hungry and didnt want to drive any further. The chicken biriyani tasted like leftover from the day before. It was cold. The mutton biriyani was hot, but it was too dry and there were only 3 pieces of meat and more rice. He said it will take 15 mins for the food. But I was starving for like 45 mins until the food arrived. They don't even give you water to drink. I also ordered samosa. They didnt even give any sauce for it. I dont know how this place has good reviews. Maybe their friends and family posted the good reviews. It was a horrible experience.
I don’t care if the food is good or not. Does not matter if you are cheating customers by posting different prices on website versus call in order. I accepted the price difference for one item while placing the order but was not happy to see me overcharging for another item. First and last time customer, be aware of their tactics. Chicken 65 wrap and mutton biryani were not only stale but tasteless too.
Heard a lot about the place, but very disappointed. How do you not serve haleem everyday? That's a big no for a hyderabadi restaurant. Also biryani portion size is pathetic, barely enough to feed one person and only 2 small pieces of meat. Tasted ok. Chicken 65 tasted decent.
My second favourite Biryani place in Chicagoland area. The food is tasty and authentic. Do try the Mutton Biryani, Chicken 65, Red Chicken and Ginger Chicken. They even make their own paranthas and as per a friend of mine who knows the owner, they themselves hand-slaughter the meat they use. The menu might be priced a dollar or two higher than other reataurants but it’s totally worth your time and taste. The people are also really nice. Now, this officially is the second Hyderabadi Biryani place to hangout in the Northern suburbs.
They have the best food I've ever eaten love it totally recommend it to all.
This was my first visit here, I've tried Haleem and Biryani which are both well known as Hyderabadi cuisine and yes they've got the authentic taste of Hyderabad...! And dont forget to have the authentic Hyderabadi desert ... Khubani
Worst food and customer service. I ordered butter chicken for to go and when mom went inside to pickup it was very very tiny box and Naan was soo small round shape it was smaller than the regular chapati i think he gave us “LEFTOVER” food because quantity was sooo less. My mom opened container in the store because she saw. Quantatiy was less and she saw there was “NO CHICKEN PIECES IN BUTTER CHICKEN” so my mom told her that there is no chicken in it is it leftover? What that guy did you can’t ever imagine he bought one plate and “TOOK OUT BUTTER CHICKEN FROM CONTAINER AND COUNTED CHICKEN PIECED WITH HIS DIRTY HAND LIKE ONE TWO THREE AND THERE WAS 4 CHICKEN PIECES IN BUTTER CHICKEN” MY MOM WAS ALMOST CRYING BECAUSE SHE INSULTED SENIOR WOMAN HE WAS INDIAN GUY WITH DARK SKIN TONE I THINK HE WAS THE OWNER. CHEAPEST PERSON I EVER MET.And when my mom told serena and sabri nihari has good quantity so he told “OH REALLY I KNOW THE OWNER OF SERENA I WILL CALL HIM AND WILL GIVE ADVICE DO YOUR QUATITY LESS” NEVER VISIT THIS PLACE AGAIN THEY DON’T HAVE MANNERS TO TALK AND GIVE LEFTOVER FOOD IF YOU GO LATE.
Food diversity at its best.Great combination of service n authentic taste. Place must to explore. One of its own kind in the neighborhood after ages. Desert -Ama-Zing. One cant go unhappy for sure. Highly recommended.
