Three stars may be generous, but the experience wasn't horrible, and I would probably return if the other theaters in town were not suitable with my schedule. The projection was fairly smooth, a few glitches, but nothing bothersome, and the facility was clean. However, the soda machines were mostly empty, and the theater was SO hot! I'm usually fairly cold natured, and I always need a jacket in a movie theater, but I was mildly sweating, even in a sleeveless knee-length dress. I'm not sure if they were having temporary AC issues, but the temperature and humidity in a theater that was occupied at less than 30 percent capacity was quite uncomfortable.
We did FAMILY night here. IT was ridiculous. There was no supervision for the extremely disrespectful teenages running throughout. Security was notified and did nothing my 4 year old daughter kept getting her seat kicked and the behavior made it impossible to enjoy a thing. The only ok part was the lady at the register but she was so stressed and overwhelmed she could barely focus. I won't be returning
Thought this movie theater was gonna be a bust since it’s on the bad side of town. But this is my go to spot from now own. $8 for a ticket verses $15 for a ticket at any other movie theater in town. And guess what you don’t have to sit elbow to elbow or wait in long lines, and they have everything any other movie theater has!
We used to come to this movie theater a lot over the past 12 years. We haven't been to a movie theater in 3 years. NOW I KNOW WHY!! $35 to see a movie in a freezing cold theater. I asked the young man to turn off the A.C. because it was extremely . He never apologized or acted concerned at all about us as customers. Also we were the only customers there on a Friday evening. The popcorn tasted like it was left from 3pm. Matinee and cold. The coke machine was out of some sodas and not proper calibration of mix to Carbonation. But now we realize why we were the only customers there!! I am in hospitality business and I would've fired every person there except the young lady at the counter. You know customers will overlook old and even excuse product issues; but no way in the entertainment industry will customers tolerate or forgive non caring rude young men who don't give a damn at all about the service of their customers!! Hey Boss you need a real Manager there,a Leader. If you don't fix it you will go under.
I have always preferred this location because it’s convenient . But going forward me and my partner will not be coming to this location. Although the staff is friendly the security is lazy. The workers that usually patron the theaters and make sure their isn’t any distractions and etc in theaters don’t happen anymore. We paid to see Insidious Red Door. Instead we was deprived of a full movie experience because a group of teenagers were talking during the whole movie and moving around and one even threw a cup of soda at me that almost hit me. I definitely felt angry and decided to speak up to them. Next time I’ll go to front desk and speak with someone but I also feel their needs to be staff patrolling the theaters to make sure this doesn’t happen you will lose a lot of business because this occurs a lot.
Took my son to see transformers for his birthday. Screen went out 4 times. Had to track down the kid running the camera because he wasn’t at his post. He was off talking to the girl who makes popcorn. And the quality of the projection is awful. I understand this is a budget theater. But when it costs $100 for four people to see a movie this theater is the only choice. Screen was so dim and blurry you couldn’t read any text the screen displayed. And if I have to see Nichole Kidmen again tell me how to dream I’m gonna make my own theater and ban her movies. Her plastic face makes every pre movie watch pure anxiety.
Very very old and outdated, but I go here because it is usually empty with no loud talking teenagers so I enjoy this location the best. Plenty of free parking. Wish they had more snack selections but yes this is my favorite theater in Columbus.
Sad, just sad. Popcorn was stale, floors in theater were a sticky mess. Toilet in bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. Screen had lines on it.
Old out dated theater itchy seats very tight space between cupholder arm rests that don't move. Dirty drink station, filthy bathrooms, but friendly staff reminds me of the dollar movie I used to see old shows of movies. We probably won't be back.
The only theater left in this area that is discounted always..no need to worry about a matinee..the theaters are clean, popcorn is generally fresh and it's never over crowded which is one of the things that I love about this place..it doesn't hurt that it's close to home..
