I would say that it met my expectations, it just did not overachieve them. Fairly clean and good sound quality as well as picture quality. The staff was helpful and nice.the building is pretty small. Not as much as it seems on the outside, but still pretty small. Only two movie selections, they are usually different genres and the most popular ones. Over all, it is satisfactory.
Small theater with only two screens but it's still my favorite place to go. Seats are comfy, their air conditioning actually works and the popcorn is delicious. What more could you ask for?
This is a very nice refurbished and updated movie theater. The staff are very friendly and personable. The snacks are excellent and reasonably priced. The seating is comfortable and the sound quality and picture quality are superb.
Two theaters. Excellent seats, projection, and sound system. A small popcorn, candy and drinks stand. Even being in a small town, the theater manages to get in Acadamy Award nominated movies every year. Vermonters get a discount Monday nights.
This theatre is actually better than expected. Small but have good picture and sound system. Not five star only because seat is kind of old, not really the five star and fancy seat.
Great theatre. Went here on vacation to get out of the heat. Staff very friendly and theatre was large with lots of seating. Only showing 2 movies though but they were newer films.
I have lived in this town for my entire life. I have been going to this cinema since I was eleven years old. Obviously long before the current owners took over. I unfortunately won't be going back and neither will my family. I walked in tonight to hear a local man talking to the staff about the new Snoop Dog video. In the end of the video Snoop Dog shoots President Trump with a fake gun. The type of gun where the gun goes pop and the little flag unfurls and it says "bang". Snoop Dog's intent is obvious and it was obvious that this local man and the staff understood his intent as they all giggled about it. The older gentlemen that was taking my money for my movie ticket laughed as he said " I want one of those guns". Are you kidding me. I wonder if you'd be saying the same thing if Snoop Dog's video was directed at former President Obama ? For some reason I don't thing you would have found that funny. You are running a business and you should be more careful what you say or comment on in front of your customers. I support and voted for President Trump. I found your comments very offensive so much so that I left before the move started and so would half this country. I own my own business but I keep my political views to myself so that I don't alienate any clients. Don't bring politics into your place of business because you never know who is going to walk in or walk out in this case. I don't care who you voted for or why just keep it to yourself. People go to movies to forget about reality for a couple of hours not to have it hit them in the face. We all have choices where we spend our discretionary income. I know one place I won't be spending anymore of mine.
This is my go to theater when I want to see a movie! It's cheaper than other nearby places but still is awesome and has the great new movies playing. I plan to keep coming back to watch movies, in fact I plan on watching Spiderman Homecoming here at some point.
I always have fond memories of this movie theater. From when it was the dingy theater you were afraid of getting tetanus from in the 90s, to the now defunct Manchester Film Festival, to watching the world premiere of Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets, to now. I haven't been there for quite some time, but if it's still the same people who bought and remodeled it from the 90s, I'm sure it's still in the utmost care and quality.
Wonderful local owned theater. Rare to find small town theaters still hanging on. Staff is super friendly, popcorn is real and theater is perfect size. Support local businesses!
