I have been there before and I loved it. This time we went in the morning, the place was clean and organized. Easy to get in, especially if you have your vote with you. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. My kids love this place, too. We watched "sound of freedom," and it was amazing. The only thing that we arrived on time but the movie started half an hour after the time they mentioned on their website. I guess this half an hour is a chance for people to gather and be ready for the movie
It's a really nice theater. They really should mark their theaters better with 18 theaters it took some figuring out where the movie was. There were no posters or numbers on the door. I found that kinda odd. But the seats are great, the prices are very reasonable - 30% discount and they make the BEST popcorn. We are also stub premier members so we get the free refills...never took advantage of that but good to know we can. No problem parking as the garage is right across from the theater.
Parking lots are always full so be prepared to walk a few miles. The bathrooms are disgusting. The seats are the outdated cushion style from the 90s with little to no leg room, you’d figure by now they would’ve updated to recliners but nope. Their screen is also smaller than your average AMC. Save your money & go somewhere else.
The concessions need better signs, it can get chaotic. It was my first time at this theater for a 9pm showing. I saw 2 lines and two employees asking who were premier members to step to the quicker line to pay at the register. So do you pay first and then order your nachos, candy, popcorn? Not clear on the ordering process. The food concession counter was empty, the overhead tv menu was turned off, I only saw one employee standing so I wasn't sure if they were closed at 8:20pm and we were stuck with grab and go cold popcorn only. I then realized if you wanted a special tin foil bucket Taylor Swift : you had to purchase it first and then go back to get it filled with popcorn. Very confusing without clear signs. Not the typical concessions. This theater makes the ordering process so confusing and chaotic.
Pretty decent digital 2D imax in the suburbs. Very good sound and screen. Watched Oppenheimer at Auditorium 18 and it was huge. I picked the middle in the back.
Excellent staff with friendly customer service. I have a disability and found the employees very kind and helpful. My only concern is that movie theaters, in general, are too loud for neo-divergent folks.
Overall experience: Poor. Will not be coming back. Cleanliness: Terrible. The floor and seats were covered in popcorn, wrappers, and napkins. The bathrooms were... Nightmare worthy. Every door I touched was sticky. Movie Volume: Too loud. The volume was so high it took several minutes before my friend and I could hear anything below a yell once we were out. Seating: Terrible. A group of people took our seats and refused to move so we did not get to sit in the location we paid for. The seats were also wildly uncomfortable and left my friend and I cramping by the end of a 1.5 hr movie, even with it reclined it was very uncomfortable. Food: Poor and unsettling. The concession area was laid out in a very confusing way. There were also several group of people blocking all of the line lanes just standing and talking when there was nobody in front of them. The way it was laid out it seems like it would be easy to simply take some food and leave without paying because you grab the food before getting to the counter and there didn't seem to be any supervision so the group of people standing and talking between the grab and go section and the cashier's would block the view easily. It also seemed a bit unsanitary, since there was a group of people standing next to a bunch of buckets of popcorn talking and coughing. Are the patrons not behaving the responsibility of the establishment? No. But between the level of cleanliness, layout, seat quality, and movie volume, this was definitely easily the worst theater I've been in to date.
The movie theater is ok. They don't have the good seats yet that a lot of AMC's have so I'm not super excited to come to this location. What I really don't like, to the point that it almost feels offensive, is that they've already bagged the popcorn and it's just sitting out waiting to be picked up. It's barely warm, doesn't taste that fresh, and I'm sorry, for what they charge for popcorn, for the profit they make on popcorn and drinks it should be very fresh. I mean, if you slack off on that, people are just going to stay home. I don't feel like they actually spend any time cleaning either.
Nice theatre. Wish there was newer seats but still a nice experience. Will come back again.
I've been to this location several times over the years and I must say that this is the first time that I left feeling underwhelmed. I will say that I love the free covered parking. And I found most of the staff to be quite pleasant and helpful. But other than that, everything else was average at best. I signed up for the loyalty club and it advertised a $5 Tuesdays promo. However when I went to check out I was charged $6.50 per ticket. The manager stated that they no longer participated in that discount but couldnt tell me which AMC theater actually did. False advertising to me. Moving on...the concessions area was very chaoctic and inefffcient. Not sure whose brainchild this was. Had to go to 3 different counters to get my nachos and fixings. One counter to pick up the chips, one counter for the jalapenos, and one for the cheese. Was a very clunky process. Bathrooms were satisfactory. Movie theater seats were not comfortable. Not enough leg room for tall people. Overall the theater has potential. They just need to work out some of the kinks.
