This place has poor bookkeeping. They need to hire qualified people. They give you different information about your account when you talk with them at different times.
Great place there is no friendlier staff very clean perfect for all your storage needs
They are the most affordable and they do not have the fees that they forget to tell you about. I almost signed up with someone else and after I got the contract I saw all these other fees and then insurance that I had to provide. At America's Self Storage, they provide the insurance and there is not one fee and they give you the lock for the unit. All for one price. Plus I love that someone is always there. Have rented here before and will continue to come back when I need storage.
Very, very poor customer service and phone etiquette. I am moving to the area and was inquiring about pricing. They were rude and acted extremely suspicious that I was calling?. Their website says call for pricing. They refused to give even a general pricing estimate and told me to go to their competitiors. It is a shame they do not have a better system for handling business inquires as it makes it impossible to do business with them.
I'm amazed that anyone could give America's Self Storage a bad review. I've been doing business there for years and the property managers are simply the best! It was the first place I looked for a unit, and I couldn't have ever found nicer people to deal with. The facility is clean, extremely well lit, well monitored, secure, safe, offers very good rates, has excellent customer service, and is in a very accessible location.
I have been with this facility since 2008. The couple that manage the property have been AMAZING and always greet me with a smile and a kind word. I feel my stuff is safe at their facility and know that with a phone call, everything I ask will be answered. It has been since the day I walked in with "what is the biggest room you have, how much will it cost, how soon can I put stuff in it and how late is the gate available for entry" All of the questions were answered with a smile and I have never had an issue. Even when I am late or totally forget and she calls me with "did you forget us? we had to put a lock on your unit, is everything ok?" If I owned a facility, I would do what I could to take them away to work for me, they are TOP QUALITY people working that place. The owners are lucky to have them there looking after the place.
I chose to go with America's Self Storage because they offered me the cheapest rate in town, BY FAR, for a 5x10 climate controlled unit. I received a special rate at half off the first month, though I only needed it for two months. But the standard price was still cheaper than anywhere else in town. They give you a lock, FOR FREE, to their units as they are unique as in, you take scissors to your new package to open it right then and there. The couple that manage the place are really, really nice. They have candy and refrigerated drinks up for grabs anytime you're there. The facility is gated and they keep a close watch on the premises. I would recommend this facility to anyone based on the service I received, especially at the best price.
My wife and I couldn't be more pleased with our unit. This is not our first rodeo and I will say that I feel great about the security of our belongings and completely satisfied with the price. I will go a little further and say that being in business myself and my wife I have read the negative responses also. There are always exceptions on both sides of the fence but it seems to me that the things that bothered people the most were the things that a person like myself appreciate. You want your items on a property that is safe . This not only means structurally but the kind of people that frequent the place. If you take offence to being questioned then you are a questionable person in my mind. It's better that you moved along. I would recommend to any of my friends.
I stopped in to get some packing supplies. The woman who helped me was absolutely delightful and helpful. So much so I felt the need to post this review! Moving is stressful. You need people like her to help and make it less so. Thank you!
Recently moved to the Burlington area and was driving around with my dad pricing storage spots. this was our third one. Walked in with my dad and the drama began. "how can i help you?" the lady asked. friendly enough. "We are just looking around pricing storage units.Do you have a brochure?" "We do'nt give out our prices." .... "um..what?" I thought i had misunderstood her "We don't give out our prices..you could be our competition." .... "um what? I was literally speechless. My dad tried to assuage her suspicions that we were not in fact superspies from the 5th dimension out to drive her out of business in these hard recession times. "Well if we told you what size we're looking for...can you give us a price?" ... "Sure what size?" "how bout a 10 by 15?: i asked as gingerly as i could. She looked me dead in the eye and asked.... "Whats your name?" WTF?? I showed her my fl id and said i was amazed she conducted business like this..and told my dad we should leave. "I think it would be best if you left." ... so....we went to her competition...and not only did they get us a great deal. the best we have found by far but the guy mentioned that this older blonde lady has contributed to some great business at their establishment. lol ding ding oops gotta run...have to go spying. this message will self destruct in 5..4..3...2..1..bzzzzttt.
