Store is stocked well and clean. The younger girl at the register lacked any sort of people skills and came off as exceptionally rude. The older woman also on staff however was very friendly and welcoming. We will likely avoid this store down the road as we generally value customer service and friendliness of staff to be a higher metric that gains loyalty or breaks it.
Rude employer , they make you feel unwelcome. I ask to use the fitting room and they gave me dirty look . I had to wait for them to finish a conversation.
Aerie has found an unusual niche producing high quality clothes at really nice prices. They are a step above H&M, Old Navy and Target IMO and have some great items you can't find anywhere else. However, my most recent online "pick up at store" purchase at this store has made me reconsider ever buying anything from them again. I ordered 3 items early Sunday morning and was promised my order would be ready in 2 hours. After the store was open for 4 hours and still not ready I called the store and asked if there was a problem. They were polite and said to be patient, the store was just busy and I would have my order by the end of the day. Sunday night the order was still "in progress". Monday morning I received an email informing me all the items in my order were cancelled because they were no longer available. I live just 5 miles from the store. I could have easily drove there, picked out my items and checked out, but instead they ignored my order and now it's a 1-2 week wait to get my order if I want to place it again. You obviously don't care at all about your customers.
i am giving this store a one star review because of the poor customer service and the attitudes of the employees. me and my friends were in the corner of the store simply having a conversation while waiting for some of our friends to check out. we were asked rudely to leave the store for no reason, we were doing nothing illegal or harmful to anyone. prior to this one of my friends had asked for a product and an employee rudely replied with a no. i am very upset with the customer service do not recommend.
On my one and only time I entered into AE in Lynnfield I was shocked at the level of unwelcoming and just frigid behaviour from this one young blond employee. There was nothing but a group of young girls, talking about things that shoppers just did not need to hear, the environment was filled with immaturity and an overwhelming sense of self entitlement. I went into the store to seek for a pair of cargo shorts plus some other intimate items along the way, as I went to try them on , on my way back out from the dressing room, a young blond girl stood by the entry, as I looked at her and extended a hello, she completely shunned me, I brushed it off and continued browsing, she then proceeded towards the cash register to gossip to the other young girl at the cash register, as I began to approach the counter the second girl asked me if I wanted to apply for the AE card to gain a discount, I gladly agreed while the blond girl kept overlooking at us, now unbeknownst to this young blond girl's knowledge I speak in a very serene way as I have a respiratory handicap due to a pulmonary collapse not to mention the fact that I work eighty hour weeks and Sundays are my only day to do errands of the sort, this young blond girl kept making snide remarks regarding my speaking manerism which was depleted of energy, she kept making remarks of "EXCUUUUUSE MEEEEEEE" I merely ignored her as she previously shunned me and there was no point in addressing her, she was unapproachable, unprofessional and plain distasteful. This is not the sort of employee you want representing your company and you can be certain Lynnfield is off my list, the amount of arrogance this young girl displayed was off the charts I will make sure no one I know ever enter such establishment to spare them the discomfort of having to deal with such unwelcoming behaviour, she clearly is a local of the area and it's a poor representation of any class whatsoever. I deal with my handicap silently , on my own, no one has to know my struggles but to have an insolent retail worker use it in ways she sees completely innacurately is nothing short of cruel and shortsighted. I didn't care to catch her name but you can probably tell who she is by my application filled that day. I don't wish to have any reprimand, only a firm handle by management, this was truly an appalling experience, one I'm not surprised actually to encounter in today's younger society and considering the region I guess it is true about what it's mentioned about those living in a privileged zone. I doubt I'll use my AE card much from here on, she has cost you endless hundreds of dollars on my part, they don't deserve any patronage. Regretfully yours, K. Herrera
The worst customer service ever!! I spent $200 in that Aerie store and when i came to exchange 2 itemsunderwear with tags i never put on to another 2 underwear from the same sale, they insulted me on putting this clothes on and plus attach the tags on!!! I called a day before and they said feel free to return! Don’t waste your time!
As a leading clothes retailer for youngsters, the customer service ability in this store is really LOW... First, for curbside pickup I waited for 15 min outside until one staff finally called me saying that their pickup location was somewhere else. But right upon my arrival I did let the store know where I was parking, they said ok without specifying that their curbside pickup location was actually not there. Second, they only gave me HALF of the order which I realized after I got home. When I called the store, the manager said there’s nothing they can do, I have to drive back again to pick up the rest of the order... Because of their mistake, I have to drive there TWICE only to pick up one order. Very disappointed
Im giving this location one star because of the bad customer service employees have at this store. I loveeee ! aerie clothes my regular store is The Northshore location but I was passing this one and I wanted to check it out…. Worst decision ever the clothes was cute but everyone just ignored me the whole time I was shopping and it was pretty dead.
I gave this American eagle a 1 star review because of the unfriendly environment. Me and a couple of my friends were in the store shopping when they asked a couple of us to leave because we were talking and not buying anything while waiting for our friends to purchase their items. We were not doing anything harmful or disrespectful but talking and waiting in the corner of the store. I was overall not very pleased while shopping with how impatient and rude the employees were.
Why should you be asked for contact info when returning a in store purchase? I have already provided the receipt and they said if I do not provide an address then I cannot return it. If there is zero star option, I will give zero star. Totally ignoring customer’s privacy. Very disappointed because the employee was so rude and impatient without convincing me to provide my address with a legal reason.
