Honestly, don't bother with the one in Aurora, rude staff, I had to asje 2 times for assistance and then I had to hunt someone down to actually get help. I'd go to the one in Englewood, great people and the stuff you want is available. I bought a recliner and a small table, had to pick it up at the Englewood store. Great furniture at a reasonable price, I love the recliner.
Great experience with this location. There was no shortage of employees who were around to answer any questions. My salesperson was quick to let us know that the couch we wanted was in stock, and was able to coordinate delivery convenient to my schedule. Day of delivery was seamless, coordinated at the expected times with great communication. The delivery team was in and out in 5 mins. The couch is also great and fairly priced!
I rarely review businesses, but I had to give a massive shout out to team at this AFW location, specifically Jim manager, Jan concierge/customer service, and Raymond salesperson. I was there a couple of weeks ago shopping for a new couch, and I lost my phone while I was in the store. I was shopping with my 9-year-old, so I didn't have access to another cell phone or anything to try calling my phone - plus, we had been trying out all kinds of couches, so my phone could have fallen out of my pocket and gotten stuck between any number of cushions! I honestly thought I would cry. When Jim and Jan saw my panic, they were incredibly helpful. They helped me look for my phone, literally, for a good 45 minutes or so whenever they weren't taking care of other customers. Jim helped me contact my husband so he could do the whole "find my device" thing and even gave us bottled water while we were looking. Jim and Jan truly went above and beyond, and they were so kind and patient while I was panicking. Then, after I found my phone hooray!, Raymond helped me get the perfect couch; I was working with some specific parameters because our living space is relatively small, and Raymond was so great! The whole sale went off without a hitch, and I love my new couch. I will definitely be returning to this location, and a huge thanks to Jim, Jan, and Raymond their exceptional customer service!!
The selection is good for the price, quality varies quite a bit too. The customer service was great. 2 out of 3 items I selected I have to wait quite a bit for so that’s the only negative. Otherwise a pretty good experience!
American Furniture petting everything these days, looks like I can not find a better price anywhere else. It is was a nice experience also with Adrian Inzurriaga The agent who helped me with the purchasing there. He was so patient with me.
Worst customer service experience at this location! I paid 3k plus on furniture to be delivered on a specific date and cleared my entire schedule to make sure I was available! After I left the store I was contacted saying their system miss calculated the taxes and that I needed to pay the remaining balance so my furniture is delivered on time! Worst call to ever receive from a business, owing more money after you’ve already dropped a ton of money on their products. Nonetheless I paid the balanced owed and on the delivery day, nothing came! I called the store in the afternoon and I was told that the delivery was not scheduled! Someone didn't click a button to schedule my delivery!
Went in today with my girlfriend looking to refurnish our living roof and office area. Had a general concept and some measurements but nothing definitive. Steve Phillips walked us through the store and showed us all the options and offered some key input that put us into the right furniture. They had everything in stock at the Thorton warehouse so we were able to buy and furnish the house the same day. Great service and super reasonable prices. Go see Steve, he’s a great person to do business with.
Be careful with their return policies! I was never told you couldn't return any pillow bought. This was a sealed, never opened item, with receipt, and within 7 days, they denied any kind of refund. Seems not all Warehouses have the same policies. Changed from 2 to 4 stars after my issue was solved, thanks for reaching out.
Salesman Isaiah was phenomenal. We had a slight hiccup in the beginning of our purchase process but he was very patient and found a remedy in no time. He also has a great sense of humor - made shopping even more fun. Will update with the furniture quality after a few months of use.
If you get Oscar as a salesperson RUN as fast as you can. After making me pay $646. On 8-1-22 and wait for over two months, Oscar did not have the decency to call me and let me know that I would have to wait an additional month to a month and a half. So because I work really hard every day doing tree care I could not find time to go down or call. Well today I finally had time and was in the neighborhood. I walked in and stopped at the front desk to see what was going on. I was then informed of the additional wait. I asked why nobody ever called to let me know. That’s when Gina said it was my salesperson Oscars responsibility to do so. So she called him up to explain himself. Oscar only had avoidance tactics to offer. So I let him know that seemed to be no integrity in taking money from someone and giving nothing in return as agreed. I have never seen a grown man become so upset so fast. He immediately told me our conversation was over and that he was going to refund my money. I told him that he had better not because I did not request any such thing and also that if he did I would sue him personally for wasting my time. I then asked a woman named Christina and after witnessing Oscar have a horrible meltdown because of his failed attempt at gaslighting me, to have Oscar removed as my salesperson. She said she would gladly do so. I in turn said thank you and that I would continue to patiently wait for my dresser. Everyone else at the front desk was not only rude and arrogant but actually had an air of entitlement as if it was their job to make me feel as rejected as possible. BEWARE when buying from this store, there is not one ounce of personal responsibility in Oscar and 99% of the rest of the employees. If you’re really smart you won’t even go through the doors.
