Americas Best Value Inn

This hotel was very clean and the bathroom was spotless. The employees are very kind and helpful. The breakfast was simple but it's not a big deal to me. The hotel is located in a very convenient location compared to all the attractions and restaurants. It's very close to the bus tour location and the Jennie Wade house as well as other museums. It's a good place to stay if you have kids that need some down time or potty breaks between attractions and tours. We were very pleased with our stay and will stay again.

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, the beds are comfy, and the rooms are very clean. Great location - you can walk to several shops, restaurants, and attractions. The only challenge we had was that my husband is 6'3" tall, and the shower heads are somewhat low - so he had to duck to wash his hair. Otherwise, great place to stay and enjoy Gettysburg!

Our family stays here every year sometimes twice and we love it. It's like our home away from home. Our rooms are always clean and the staff is amazing. They really go above and beyond to make your stay a good one. It just wouldn't be a trip to Gettysburg if we didn't stay here.

Really a good place for the price and location. The motel was obviously built in the 1950's or so, but that adds to the charm of the place. The pool was nice, good ice machine, bountiful enough continental breakfast and the staff was friendly. We were on the 2nd floor so we got a balcony but I could see being on the first floor to be a little claustrophobic - but then again you are closer to the breakfast and pool! Right in the center of town, you can easily walk to shops and restaurants and the battlefields are all around you. Our room was clean although very basic. The only complaint I had was there was no microwave or mini fridge that was mentioned when I booked the room. Maybe only some of the rooms had these? It didn't matter for us as we would not have used them on this trip, but for the future I guess it's good to call the property ahead of time to be sure if you were counting on those items being in the room. All in all, a good stay for a comparable price.

Had a wonderful time here. Great location, with parking, and walking distance to downtown. Rooms clean and well maintained. Complimentary Breakfast was good. Friendly staff. Will stay there again in July 2015.

Due to me loosing my job my hubby and I have had to stay here for awhile until I found a job . These people are so kind. And the housekeepers are so nice. Not once have I had a bad day here. I recommend this hotel to any and everybody

Stayed here three times now and have no complaints. Now that I am retired I will be back every year. Love to explore Gettysburg and really like this motel location.

I was here with 20 other family members and I thought this place Was A great place to party! I mean there is A pool, A nice room witch my Uncle bought A chocolate fountain And A nice breakfast area to eat in And speak with the front desk lady who was part of our family

Stayed here a couple of times. The location is perfect to access the historic battlefield. Will be back again when visiting.

A shame they had to close hope that the new replacement will be just as friendly but we all know the rates will be a lot higher that what ABVI had
