Got to the station at 530am. had to wait till 6am for the doors to be unlocked. you MUST GET A CODE TO USE THE RESTROOM! Ask the information desk, they'll happily give it to you.

The starting point of California Zephyr is a compact station in Emeryville, located 15 min away from downtown in San Francisco. The officers here are very friendly and helpful. They have the ticket printer at station but the e-ticket is good enough to board

Great station close to shops and businesses in Emeryville. Could use a little cleaning especially the restrooms. Agents are helpful and knowledgeable. There are connecting buses here to San Francisco.

A remarkable place in 2023. No sign inside displaying the train schedules. A staff member explained the reason why, but it doesn’t matter. Humans want to know if the trains are coming. And if they are delayed. Public address system is terrible – can’t understand announcements. No working Wi-Fi. In the San Francisco Bay Area, tech central. Also, their app sucks. If you can tell me where the buses and trains hand-off, good on you. I had to call. Understaffed phone lines. Friendly staff member here. I would give it one star, but there hasn’t been a military assault, and it’s not filthy. So there’s that. If China attacks right now, it’s going to piss me off.

Clean, modern with a cash only cafe serving Peets Coffee drinks, snacks and toiletries . Vending machines and an ATM. Staff was friendly. Easy Amtrak Thruway Bus connection from San Francisco.

Some bad experiences. Sometimes kids and staff are rude. I love how there's a decent bathroom and a good ticket counter. I love the cafe in the morning time. The seats are comfortable. There's lots of room.

They should build a decent and peaceful waiting area for coach passengers. Adding a paid shower $20 per session is good for both public and Amtrak!

Just cancelled my October monthly pass, if your going to work in San francusco do not take the bus for train 719 you will be stuck in Emryville for a long time. Get off at Richmond instead. And some bus drivers are rude for this new bus company. They fit 2 train passengers in one bus on late trains they use to have bus for each train now its not guarantied.

Terrible customer service by manager Tiny. For a nearly 2-hour delay for train 6 eastbound on at originally 9:10am offered no food voucher or snack packs. Would not even write official note for on-train manager to offer food voucher or snack pack. As Amtrak gets funded as infrastructure for our state it's a shame it loses a loyal customer. Update on train itself: spoke to conductor. He says it isn't their policy to offer snack voucher or any compensation for 2-hour delay. So manager and multiple staff at Emeryville station have lied.
