GOALS
In the Hospitality Management program, our primary goal is to prepare students for successful, rewarding careers in their respective fields of study. Students in the Hospitality Management Program will be able to:
1. Apply concepts and principles of hospitality service excellence in marketing, law, revenue management and strategic planning, to the unique aspects of hospitality operations.
2. Analyze current political, economic, and social issues that affect food service, lodging and travel and tourism industries.
3. Evaluate various concepts and meanings of leisure and health and wellness that apply to the hospitality, travel and tourism industries.
4. Assess unique hospitality service characteristics and principles that are the business of hospitality management.

The mission of the Hospitality Management Program is to educate and develop enterprising students to become leaders in regional and global hospitality and tourism professions by creating an interactive, effective learning environment where students gain a broad foundation in hospitality management fundamentals while developing specialized expertise in food service, lodging and tourism management.
