Description

Anderson Animal Hospital was established in 1983 by Dr. Rick Wooden. Dr. Wooden graduated from Oklahoma State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1976, and was an employed veterinarian in Connecticut before moving to Missouri. Dr. Jennifer Keaton, a 2000 graduate of the University of Missouri Veterinary Medical School, joined our team after graduation. Dr. C.R. Hammons is a 1975 graduate from University of Missouri. Dr. Hammons owned and operated his own mixed practice for 35 years before joining our team June 2015. They work together to provide a modern veterinary care for both companion animals and farm animals.

Always takes forever in their waiting room, appointment, no appointment, no difference. The staff is usually not that friendly, Very few hellos or smiles. It just doesn’t seem like a very happy atmosphere. The vets are ok but nothing special. Nothing or no one stands out . I gave three stars because they do the job, without a smile but they do it. We have been going here almost 2 years with 2 dogs.

My ESA was crying in pain. I called and they made her an appointment for 15 min later. We had a short wait but we're soon seen by a wonderful gentle doctor, Dr Klein. He knew almost immediately what was wrong just by watching her walk around the room. Experience or intuition? Or both? We had a diagnosis and she's on the mend. He ordered just what was needed, nothing unnecessary. Cost was more than reasonable. Thank you to all you guys at Anderson Vet and a special thank you to Dr Klein.

This office is a god-send! Dr. Smith really cares about the well-being of your animals and goes the extra mile to figure out what’s wrong and the best personal treatment. She even suggested ways we could save money on the treatments we needed. When our previous vet let us down, Dr. Smith fixed everything. Our dog and I are very grateful and we’ll be returning for the duration of her life.

My kiddo needed some more-than-routine dental work and Dr. Ortiz and crew took great care of her. I appreciate the kindness shown by the whole staff.

I recently moved to Redding and was recommended by my previous vet to see Dr. Neligh here. My dog has seen both Dr. Neligh and Dr. Ortiz and both dr’s are awesome. My dog recently had a dental here done by Dr Ortiz and I am very happy with how the entire process went. Everyone at Anderson Veterinary Clinic is very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great hospital with friendly staff and great doctors.

I was told that I would get a call back by a certain time about my pets x-rays, and that didn't happen. I was told I would have my pet's Rx approved by a certain time and that also didn't happen. I'm not thrilled about the dishonesty.

Great service, great staff & a very clean operation. Been bringing all 5 of my dogs & a couple of cats here for 10 years. They went above & beyond in service to save my dog when other chain-store vets wanted to do unnecessary surgery. The duck in the bathroom is my personal favorite decorative touch.

I had to go to this vet because mine was under construction. I love my normal vet and now I love this one too. My cat had a ruptured abscess and I feel they did all the right steps to treat her. Staff: from the moment you walk in every staff member is nice and friendly. The front desk lady checked us in quickly with a smile and then Cortney took us into an exam room. She was kind, made small talk and understood all my concerns about treatment. Dr. Smith came in and gave us her full attention. She was bubbly, kind and genuinely cares for animals. When I checked out Wendy was at the desk and seen I had a 9 month old in one hand and a cat in the other, she quickly came and walked the cat to my car.  Thank you for being there for us
