My family and I originally met with the owner, Lonnie Wright, to start on the initial paperwork and eventually got shifted over to complete planning with Aaron Shaw. If you are not someone who is hands-on and active with the planning, you may not see a problem. However, I will never again use this funeral home to put away any other family member. I was instructed to have papers turned in 2-3 days prior to the funeral, and I had them turned in almost a week ahead of time. Even with my preparation, nothing about this process was smooth. Many things were done at the last minute, and calls and emails were being made at 11 and 12 o’clock at night the day before the funeral. So many of our requests seemed to have fallen on deaf ears. From the type of flowers to the way the body was prepared, so much was wrong. Seeing my family member and not even really recognizing them made it even harder. The main excuse we heard was that there’s a lot going on and I’m busy, which, to say the least, is very unprofessional to say to a customer, let alone a grieving family. To top it all off, when we arrived for the funeral, there was a terrible smell, and flies were landing on my loved one's face and body. When Shaw saw me waving away flies, he decided to come and spray some ozium air sanitizer as if that would fix the situation. This was supposed to be a time to grieve and finally lay a loved one to rest, but this experience with Angel Hills made it the complete opposite.

Dr. Wright and his staff are amazing.  He worked with me during this difficult time.  The staff was friendly and compassionate with every step.  They have been professional, prompt, and easy to communicate with.  I will be recommending them to everyone I know.

My friend recommended Angle Hills for my husband's cremation and I am so glad she did.  Dr. Wright Sr. was extremely helpful.   I can't say enough about his service to my family. Thank you Angle Hills.

When my stepdaughter passed away Mr Shaw to say the least was very petty and unprofessional not to allow me to see her with my husband. Then he claim the owner said that. I would never recommend him for anything due to him being rude and then had the nerve to ask me to go with my soon to be ex husband to pick her out another outfit.

Angel Hills Funeral Home have done several of my family arrangements. They take the time and make sure you understand and agree and make sure you’re getting things the way you want it to be. WILLING TO ANSWER ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS. They keep you updated on the progress from the beginning to the End. And they make you feel like they really care and it’s not only about the money. From the front to the back they are a VERY CARING COMPANY AND YOU GENUINELY FEEL AS SUCH. I’m VERY VERY THANKFUL, GRATEFUL AND APPRECIATIVE OF MR. And MRS L. Dr.Wright and Mr.Shaw have been so helpful since the passing of my dad. Dr. Wright and Mr. Shaw made this process as easy as possible. I would recommend Angel Hills Funeral Directors a Thousand times over I am so Thankful for all y'all have done.

Mr. Wright and Ms. Esmeralda was very professional and kind to the situation that my boyfriend and I was going through at the time. They both took there time to make sure we were comfortable and understood what was going on. We had no problem with them reaching out to make sure we were taken care of fast. We are happy we chose them to take care of our needs. FRIENDLY AND FAST SERVICE THANK YOU VERY MUCH WHAT A GREAT TEAM!!!

This funeral Services is a joke. They overcharge and have rude customer service. Dr. Wright is the owner and does not follow up with customers. His employees just do whatever they want and charge you for services that should be included. Attended a service where the driver didn’t come to pick up my family member body until a hour after service. The coordinator kept saying we are 24 hours service and they are not. Kept telling Angel my family member had a different Funeral service and they completely ignored that and did what they choose to do. Save your money and time and go where they will treat you and your family with respect and value.

I am very please with Mr. Lonnie D Wright Sr. The Angel Hills Funeral Directors Is A Very Clean and comfortable Business For Love Ones Who Lost a Family member And who are in need for assistance Mr.Lonnie Wright is a very respectful Gentleman and i trust him with my love ones when they pass over. I know he will take good care of them with no doubt he is very trustworthy husband n father and thank u for your business.

In this difficult and painful moment in our family we found a very helpful person to complete the difficult task of taking care of my mothers remains. Ms. DeeDee Wright, took my hand at this point and went over of to what I had to do to put my mother's remains to rest. My mother died on a Saturday afternoon and by Sunday Angel Hills was taking care of my mother's remains. Deedee was a support over the phone and told me with precision everything that had to be done and created real expectations of this hard and difficult process. My sister had traveled from out of the country to be here before her cremation not knowing that this process could take more time and Deedee did everything possible to complete the process for my sister to be here before she had to go to her home. It is always in these moments when more tests are put in the way and Deedee was a great support not only did she as an employee should do but with her compassion, dedication and human quality, she helped me greatly. I want to thank her very much for everything she did.
