Anthony's Restaurant

This was our second time there, and we are already planning a third! There are a few hit-and-miss items, but those that hit are AMAZING! The service is always good, and they are very kind. I will say, as someone who always gets extra cheese on their pizza, we tried the pizza last night for the first time, and I am surprised and happy to report that if you like extra cheese like me, you don't have to order it - cheese ratio is PERFECT!

Good pizza. The multiple toppings made the crust come out a bit under-cooked, unfortunately. This was pepperoni, double pineapple, extra cheese, and banana peppers.Food: 4/5

Absolutely wonderful. One of my Uncle's favorite resteraunts. He took the family there for lunch and we found out it was their first day back from vacation. They had spent the previous day cleaning everything. Everything was so clean and nice. The food was excellent. My husband got the crab cake sandwich and I got the steak and cheese. We split them so we could try both. I got unsweet ice tea. A sign of good tea is when it does not need sweetener to be good and this was excellent. All 10 of us enjoyed our meals very much. Makes me wish I was local to this place. We will come back when we visit and I am sure my Uncle will be back as this is one of his favorite resteraunts.

We ordered three pizzas. The toppings were good and generous. The crust was thick and soft. The server was very attentive. We left happy.Food: 5/5

We really like the variety and quality of the dishes served at this restaurant. We had the eggplant parmesan and stuffed cabbage tonight. Both plates were tasty and cooked well. Spaghetti is super tasty. The sausage was a little different than what I'm used to. Online menu doesn't reflect current prices.Food: 4/5

Prices have risen even beyond inflation. Definitely too expensive for what you get. Fries are not included with anything, they're $4.95 extra no matter what you buy. Also I got the Tony's steak special breakfast with promise of an 8 oz ribeye and what they provided was something like flank steak and it couldn't have been more than 4 oz. On top of that, a lot of it was inedible with hard lines of fat or veins. Used to be if you got two eggs, they were large eggs these were like dwarf eggs. My friends got the moussaka and said that the taste of cinnamon was overpowering and it didn't taste very good. Also it was tons of ground beef and almost no eggplant or zucchini. They were disappointed. My other friend got the French toast and the syrup is just high fructose corn syrup. She gave me a taste and it was really yucky not anything close to maple syrup, didn't even taste like log cabin. As always service is slow, but it hasn't gotten worse, it was always slow.

I attended with a large gathering and the service was excellent! Food was served hot and was delicious. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5

Great expectations, but the food was awful. The sausage tasted spoiled. The meatballs were not good tasting at all. I paid a lot and was greatly disappointed. I expected much better from a place around since 1972.Food: 1/5

The family stopped in while visiting DC. The restaurant was highly rated on good and close to where we were staying. The restaurant was a sit down family style restaurant. It was very well kept and clean. The food was very good. The pizza took a little longer and delayed the rest of our meals. However, it was with the wait. Between the group we also had a gyro and burger. Those were good as well. The restaurant is easy to find and has plenty of parking in the strip mall.
