They do a very good job of keeping this gym clean. This gym is about the size of most anytime fitness gyms. It's functional, nothing impressive like any other anytime fitness locations. But the management does a great job of keeping it clean. 10/10 would recommend.
I haven't been to this particular Location however I do have a membership out of the red oak any time fitness for 2 years now. I was looking for other locations and I seen someone comment about the prices and having a problem with that and so I decided I would give my 2 cents. Okay, as far as pricing... I actually had chose to pay more knowing that I was paying more than some of the other places because of that reason. I would rather pay a premium and be able to go in and workout on the equipment i choose and not have to wait because there's so many people packed in the sardine can that you can't breathe. Plus I have never been harassed at all at any location I've been to and I have been to of Anytime fitness. But i was at planet fitness in Lancaster And I finally left because I could not get the guys to stop looking or leave me alone. Also I like the tanning bed that the locations have and also weekend zumba at some too and other free classes as well. So i think it's well worth the extra for just that convenience
This gym caught my eye mainly because of how close and convenient it is to home and they have free weighted plates for bench and squat rack although not many but waiting doesn’t hurt. I was assuming the lack of other amenities would make this gym cheaper. BOY WAS I WRONG. Over $600 a year is insane. It actually makes you more thankful for other less greedy gyms like planet fitness or Colaw fitness which charge AT THE MOST $300, free guests etc. Doubling up monthly payments into Biweekly is just crazy. Can you AT LEAST offer a Paid in full membership that allows you to pay 12-18 months upfront like any other gym so members won’t feel like their getting pimped out every time they get paid? Update: Replying to owner Ahhh yes my mistake! I was badly misinformed that you DIDN’T offer paid-in-full options by Someone I reached by directly calling and inquiring at the gym, I guess by those same people who know our names and fitness goals by heart right? Lol. And besides, having a trainer who knows that type of information about their clients isn’t out of the ordinary. Its actually normal throughout gyms and Personal trainers. Some will even give you recommended grocery shopping lists and Help you track and count your calorie intake. And I guess Most are ok with Providing along the spectrum of minimum as long as they can get by from Stacking em low-selling em high? Lol
Unfortunately, my experience with this gym has been extremely disappointing, and I would strongly advise against anyone using this location. Firstly, I canceled my membership immediately after joining, due to accepting job in a different city. No money was exchanged during my brief membership period. To my surprise, I recently discovered that the gym sent me to a collection agency five months later, claiming I owe them a staggering $1,108. This is outrageous considering my membership was only $40 per month, and I never utilized the gym's facilities or services. Furthermore, the gym's business practices have been nothing short of shady. Despite not paying any dues, I was never notified about the alleged outstanding balance until it was sent to a collection agency. To date, I have been charged with 27 months of dues without having stepped foot in the gym one time since cancelling membership. My repeated attempts to contact the gym and resolve this issue have been met with silence. The lack of responsiveness and unwillingness to address my concerns have left me feeling frustrated and ignored as a customer. I strongly caution anyone considering joining this gym to proceed with extreme caution. The gym's disregard for customer satisfaction and their questionable billing practices are clear indications of their lack of integrity and professionalism. My experience with Cedar Hill Anytime Fitness has been nothing short of a nightmare. I urge others to explore alternative gym options that prioritize customer service and transparent billing practices. REPLYING TO YOUR COMMENT: Everything I stated is the truth! I have better things to do than write negative reviews!!!! I cancelled contract within 72 hours which would make contract null and void and I finally spoke with you on the phone after trying to get in contact with you for over a week. The only documentation you have is a signed contract buddy, lol!! Instead of giving me the benefit of the doubt due to the incompetence of your staff, you try and make a settlement with me! I don't owe you ANY MONEY!! Certainly NOT 2 years worth of dues!!! Do the right thing you clown!!!! You are a shady businessman, plain and simple. If anything is being misused, it's your attempt to try and swindle people out of money. Nice try though!
Absolutely one of the best Anytime gyms I've been to. I was impressed how clean the machines and gym are kept up. Stratford who is the manager that I met, was helpful and very informative. At the time he was cleaning the place and took time to help me out and answered questions I had on which machine to use for certain muscle. Will definitely come back when I'm around the area. Awesome place!!
I'm a newbie here, but I absolutely love this gym! It is small private, quiet and clean Exactly what I was looking for! Best decision I made for my new gym home. Keep up the great work keeping the gym clean and private. I look forward to being a member for a very long time!
This is the best place to be. Very clean, calm, and organized. I go nowhere. I love this place.
Wouldn’t recommend. Staff wasn’t present. I’ve called with no answers. I kept showing up during the hours they have posted on the door and still couldn’t get connected with someone in order to see the gym and signup for a membership.
I was in Cedar Hill for 9 months as my wife finished up an internship and I decided to join this gym. It was a very welcoming environment and it had everything I needed to get a great workout. Stratford, one of the head trainers there, kept me coming back. He brings great energy and joy to enhance your experience.
Staff is great but WHY ISNT THE AC REPAIRED?! This is the hottest summer in years and they can’t seem to get this right. It is not safe for people to work out in that heat!
