Hoops Academy was founded by former professional basketball player Darren Kelly and experienced coach Ladarron Walker. With over 25 years combined experience, Coaches Kelly and Walker bring a unique skill set that will help build your player from the ground up. Coach Kelly is a former Texas Longhorn, honored as an All Big XII and NCAA Division 2 All American player. In addition, Coach Kelly spent 12 years as a professional player overseas. Coach Walker shores up the team by providing head coaching experience at the high school and junior college levels to meet athletes at their current level of ability.
In addition to being versed in the fundamentals of basketball, both coaches model the skills and attitude necessary to become the consummate sportsman on and off the court.
