I've been taking all my pets here for at least a decade. Dr. Kim is excellent, as is every member of his staff. Seriously, they're all the sweetest people, and they genuinely love all animals. Plus I've never felt like I've been overcharged, or like they pad the bill in any way. If anything, they usually discount little things here and there on the invoice that I feel other vets wouldn't throw in for free. I've never had a single complaint. Love them!
I took my son's cat here for his vomiting and they were so kind with Black Beard...the doctor went above and beyond with the care and evaluation provided and even gave me probiotics samples to try for his tummy. Black Beard is much better now. He was taken back to be neutered yesterday and it wasn't the cheapest place around, but I am very pleased with their care and compassion for my son's beloved pet. He was sent home wearing the cone of shame at other places, id been charged extra for it with my other cats and also with pain meds again, other vets charged me much extra for meds. Black Beard seems to be healing nicely and not in discomfort today. In the future, I will be bringing both of our cats to this clinic. I am confident they will be taken care of here.
Great Prices!! Love the team- Vet, Sub vet, and office team. My pup has IBD and they always give me advice how to manage her condition vs. pumping her full of medications. She’s never scared to go into the office like the normally vet visit in the past. They follow up when there suppose too, which now a days is hard to find that anywhere. Looking for a vet I would most definitely recommend this this place!
Dr Kim is thorough and kind. His staff is sensitive to my animals. One thing that I really like is you are shown the price of all treatments recommended before anything is done. Just took my dog, Rufus, for her scratching. Dr Kim diagnosed her immediately and we started treatments. Scratching gone by the next day.
Brought our two dogs here to hopefully get them set up after our move. The vet tech came in multiple times to clarify the history which he confused a few times. He was unfamiliar with medication names, and seemed like he was training. The most concerning thing was that the vet did not do a physical exam. He just put a stethoscope for like .25 seconds and said they are fine. It’s hard to believe you can listen to both lungs and the heart in less than a second. The dogs barked so vet tech said they needed muzzles which we readily agreed to. Even after the muzzle there was no palpation, no examination of the ears, joint, teeth, gait or eyes. I understand they barked, but they are at the vet. They have gone to the vet semi annually before and never had a problem with other hospitals. I asked for one of my dogs to get his nails trimmed because he’s anxious about it and we have a hard time. A female vet tech came in, body slammed him to the ground without even a courtesy introduction to calm the dog. After putting him in a scruff chokehold she then tried to use him as a teaching animal to train the other vet tech to clip his nails. He was unable to cut a single nail. My dog who was now wildly scared and anxious yelped. The female tech got frustrated and then told us he needs to be sedated for it. Our dog had an accident after being horribly traumatized and she sighed a very loud sigh and said she will get someone to clean that up and stormed out. We sent our dog to a groomer that day who clipped his nails without any problem. I cannot believe we briefly considered putting him under general anesthesia for a nail trim due to their recommendation. What an unkind experience for our dogs. I have never seen such unprofessionalism and clinically inadequate medical care. We found a new vet. They had an anxious but comprehensive exam and we plan to never ever come back to this animal hospital. I would recommend anyone who wants the right thing for their pets to go elsewhere. From my understanding veterinary care heavily relies on physical examination because imaging is expensive and out of pocket. How will they rule out cancers if no one touches your dog?! How can you see if the dog needs dental care if no one looks at their teeth? If you need recommendations for a better animal hospital feel free to contact me.
They are irresponsible to pets. My cat twitched. We suspected that it was cat epilepsy. I asked them for an expert's phone number. Later, we learned that no matter how we checked, there were only a few kinds of medications for treating cat epilepsy. So we asked the vet if he could give the medicine. The vet said that they could only give the prescription after the blood test. We did the blood test. Then they asked me to send a video of my cat twitching. I sent it, The vet did not reply or give any medicine. I asked them for RECORD. Under my constant urging, they sent RECORD to me one month later. Due to time delay, the insurance company rejected my CLAIM. I have to REOPEN THE CLAIM. The vet said that the medicine can be given after the blood test, and because we have waited for a month, asked the medicine again. The answer was that I refused to go to the specialist clinic. I wanted to ask the doctor. My cat has his insurance, if you can't give the medicine and RECORD in time, it is really unnecessary to ask my cat to test the blood at your place in disguise, and also give the cat general anesthesia before the blood test. At that moment, my cat was already very weak because he was hardly to eat, drink or move. Finally, I could have a chance to speak with the vet through the phone a month later, but he put all blame on me and then hung up the phone. This is my very unpleasant experience.
I am very grateful to the doctor and his staff for always taking care of my fur babies needs. Dr Kim has always done awesome work and surgeries on my dog! I trust his knowledge and experience and commend his work!!
