Saw sign on interstate, and wanted to take the tour. Got to the gate for a visitor's pass. Since the program to run a complete background check wasn't running, they had to run the check manually. Ten minutes later, I told them not to bother and left. If it's this much trouble, they should remove the signs from the interstate.Visited onWeekdayWait time10–30 minReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
Very informative history of the Arkansas National Guard. The military displays were excellent. I highly recommend this to everyone. Good field trip potential for the youth of this state. Great job in setting up the displays.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
NOTE: You'll have to go into an actual National Guard Base. When going to the National Guard Base, be prepared for a background check, and make sure your car insurance is valid as they will request that as well in order to give you a guest pass. Finding the Museum itself can be a little tricky too, but google maps should be able to point you in the right direction. Drive safely through the base and respectfully, you don't want problems with local enforcement. Remember, you're on the grounds of a military base. The museum itself is quite fascinating. They have all sorts of vehicles outside for you to observe and even touch no climbing allowed, i don't suggest testing out your luck and climbing a tank in a military base... just saying. There's also an inside part of the museum which is just as fascinating as the outside.
This place is a great place to come check out. There's so much history there. I love to see how things was and compare what we have now. I feel like everyone should at least go here once to just see the history.
A very cool collection of guns and history at the museum. Definitely worth a stop!
