I am so dissatisfied with this apartment complex. It took 3 weeks for my air conditioning unit to be fixed in the middle of the summer. I understand this may be considered a first world problem, but it is simply unacceptable considering the amount that is charged for rent. Also, there have been potentially dangerous maintenance issues, like pieces of siding dangling from the entrance of the building, that have been repeatedly alerted to management only to be told,“That costs money and is going to take time to fix.” Well, let’s hope that doesn’t hit someone walking in from spending all day at work to pay for living at this monstrosity! And all of this doesn’t even begin to describe the awful experience of using the rusty trash compactor, which hasn’t been painted in well over a decade. Please make sure you have a tetanus shot before going down to throw out your trash because you most certainly will need one! Finally, when the resident above you moves out and that apartment becomes unoccupied for months, expect a Sherwin Williams employee to needlessly stop by the unoccupied apartment at 1 am and stomp around loudly enough wake you up and cause alarm. And when you call management about said situation they will just tell you, “ohh they were just stopping by surveying the apartment.” One final note, Columbus has a competitive market with plenty of other apartment complexes. I would urge people in need of an apartment to look elsewhere.
Arlington Park Apartments is a nice and quiet community. My apartment is very spacious. It's close to all of my favorite stores, restaurants, and our jobs. My neighbors keep to themselves. There is plenty of parking. The apartments are set up for ATT internet. But, you can use Spectrum or Verizon. The electric is serviced by AEP. In addition to the base rent, we pay water/sewer & trash. The only thing that annoys my spirit is some pet owners do not pick up after their dogs, despite being a few steps away from a dog station. We also gave a nice population of wildlife in the community. Overall, I love where I live.
I lived at Arlington Park for 3 years, I was so sad to leave. This is the first apartment I’ve lived in that felt like home. From the very first day when signing the lease, the employees in the office made me feel like I mattered. Arlington Park is very communicative and never failed to let everyone know when inspections would take place, the pool would open/close, new equipment in the gym, etc. I only ever had one issue with the AC and it was quickly fixed the next day. I even remember when I first moved in, the maintenance person showed me how to turn the water off, how the breaker box worked and many other things just in case. I appreciated that so much. If I ever need to move into an apartment again, I’ll always come back to Arlington Park The grounds are always taken care of as well, and I loved showing my place off to friends and family. I enjoyed many pool days and walks around the complex. Thank you for being my home for the last 3 years!
i love living at arlington park. the grounds are so well kept and i feel safe here. there’s a lovely walking trail around the ponds and it’s gorgeous at all times of the days. any maintenance issues i have get fixed quickly and the office staff are quick to respond and help.
I’ve called Arlington Park home for 8 years, both in a 2 bedroom and a 1 bedroom. You can’t beat the location, floor plans, and amenities. Safe and friendly neighborhood. Open parking lot with PLENTY of spaces. Staff is second-to-none, always pleasant and easy to get a hold of. 24hr maintenance.
I initially went to the "sister" location can't remember the name of the other apartments but Tommy was there. He greeted me and informed me that he didn't have anything readily available for the time frame I was looking for, but he was persistent on helping me. He contacted Maegan while I was sitting with him he gave her all my info and asked he if she could give me a tour same day. I drove over to Arlington Park Meg greeted me at the door and she was just a pleasant spirit. She took me over to the apartment the actual apartment I would be living in not a model walked me through and answered ALL my questions. I told her I love the location and I wanted to apply. She didn't send me off with a card and said do it at home, she guided me to the computer lab, helped me get logged on and I filled out the application. The very next day I received the email stating I had been approved. From the initial moment even now, they ALL have been AMAZING. If you are searching. I highly recommend.
My wife and I lived here for 2.5 years and my wife lived here for about 3 years prior to that. They used to be an Edwards community and when they were they were a 5 star place to live. Ever since Drucker & Falk took over the place has gone down hill. The maintenance crew is extremely slow to get anything fixed and they were extremely rude when they would come in to check anything. We recently moved out of this place because they raised the rent on us to an astronomical amount. Then they proceeded to charge us for the carpet in the apartment. There was only normal wear and tear on the carpet and they still tried to charge us for the replacement and upcharge with hidden fees in the process. They do not go by state laws for these kind of things. We were told directly by them they don't follow Ohio law they follow company policy. Make sure when you look into a place, you look at the reviews of the parent company that runs the place. Steer clear of all D&F properties.
Lived at Arlington Park for two years in a two bedroom apartment. The staff in the office were always kind, polite, and helpful! The maintenance men were always so kind, and if we had a problem of any kind they would be there so quick to help, sometimes it would surprise me how quickly they would arrive. The clubhouse was great, I never used the movie room but used the Business Room, Gym, and Pool pretty frequently; it was always well kept and clean. Never a problem with parking which was really nice, especially with guests visiting. Lots of trails and places to walk/run nearby, and I loved the view we had of the duck pond next to the complex, we had beautiful sunsets there. Being two twenty-some year old girls living together, we always felt very safe there. The only reason I give four stars is because of the building themselves. If anyone in the building let the door slam, the entire building could feel and hear it. The walls were fairly thin so you could hear your neighbor, but not too much where I felt like it was an issue for me. The biggest problem I had was the washer and dryer, you really can’t put much in at a time, and it’s very loud and would shake a frightening amount if you put a little too much clothes in it. Other than those few little things, great place to live!
My wife and I loved everything about Arlington Park during our time in the Columbus area, especially the location, cleanliness, as well as tenant service and amenities! Shout out to Makenna, assistant property manager, and Tony, maintenance supervisor, for being so good to us! We highly recommend these apartments for anyone looking in Hilliard.
They will take your security deposit upon moving out for very little things, don't expect anything back. Windows in my unit didn't even shut, so we had constant mildew and mold problems. Horrible staff member A*. Consistent problems with spiders or ladybugs entering your apartment. Even though it will look really nice during your tour, I would not recommend living here.
