Amherst Pelham Regional Schools Food Services is a self-operated child nutrition program that offers nutritious and appealing meals throughout the school year and summer. The program services 7 public schools, with a total enrollment of nearly 3,000 students, and serves over 250,000 meals per year. We participate in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), School Breakfast Program (SBP) and Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). All our meals operate under the strict Healthy Hunger Free Kids Act of 2010.
We strive to serve the healthiest meals possible, sourcing as much local food as we can and our cooking from-scratch as much as possible. The result is a comprehensive and creative menu that focuses on health, wellness, and sustainability. Students leave our cafeterias each day having eaten a nutritious meal, thus they are much better set up to learn and be successful both inside and outside of the classroom.
