I have been a patient at this office for about 3 years now and I've always had good experiences with Arthritis and Rheumatology Clinical Center of Northern Virginia. Dr. Momeni and Sonia Ansari, NP are excellent providers, their techs are super nice and competent at giving me injections in the tummy which was a scary experience at first but their skill has alleviated my fears. The office staff is always pleasant as well. I couldn't ask for a better group of providers. My thanks to all.
I'm not happy anymore. I loved Dr. Tehrani when I first came, but I never see her anymore. She used to do my monthly injections, then it was nurse practitioners. I still saw her for an annual checkup, then that changed and I never see her. On my most recent visit I got a lecture from the receptionist about not confirming my appointment and my voicemail being full. I explained that I'd been out of the country without access to my phone, but she continued to be rude about it. I also now have to pay an extra $160 a year for three-month checkups with nurse practitioners. They say it's required by my insurance, but whatever the case, I need to find new doctors. I can't deal with driving out to Tysons 16 times a year for this lack of service.
I am pleased with the care I have gotten at the Arthritis and Rheumatology Clinical Center of Northern Virginia. The wait time is short and the staff treat me with respect. I recently had 2 shots for rheumatoid arthritis and it went smoothly. I recommend them highly.
Do not go here! 1. My mother has been going here for a long time, and we cannot recall a single time where they were ready for her appointment at the scheduled time- they always take us back 25-45 minutes later, and will charge you if you are even 10 minutes late. 2. For a place that is meant to help others, some staff are extremely childish. We overheard staff badmouthing my mother and other patients from outside the door of our consultation room. Extremely rude and childish gossip is disgusting for a place of medical practice or any service-based business. 3. We have had multiple incidents of mistakes like sending our prescription to the wrong clinic, accidental charges, and more. The practice here is overall treating patients like a paycheck rather than a person. Doctors rush appointments to get home quicker and there are more rude staff than kind. Overall, my mother did not want to switch clinics because of the hassle, but I hope others will see this review and not make the same mistake we did by picking this clinic.
My appts. at Arthritis and Rheumatology have always been excellent. The staff is always pleasant and helpful and Dr Momeni is absolutely wonderful. She takes her time answering any questions I may have and works with me to get the right combination of medication, vitamins, diet, exercises and lifestyle recommendations, that work best for me.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! Dr. Tehrani barely spends 1-3 minutes with her patients, she rushes the entire appointment after making them wait. She is not an advocate and doesnt have the time to answer questions. They will request you have blood work done but then schedules your appointment for 6 months later which makes absolutely no sense. You'll be lucky to have an appointment twice per year. Additionally, they will schedule your follow up with her PA without even notifying you. The PA acted like she had no idea who I was, what meds I had been prescribed BY THEM FOR YEARS, and she had no idea what my medical history is! Even when she should have all of this information within my medical records! Just complete ignorance and malpractice. Plus, after I already had a recent appointment and medicine refill, I received a notice from my pharmacy that the doctor informed them they couldn't fill my script because "I hadn't had a recent appointment". But I went 2 months ago and they renewed my script which should be valid for a year! Just complete negligence! Now I will have to go without my rheumatoid medicine, and risk a flare up, until I can have a appointment with a new doctor and get a new script approved which can take awhile. Please absolutely avoid this doctor at all costs, find someone else!
Dr. Tehrani was very thorough and answered many questions. My appointment was not rushed. We had a good conversation about my issue and determined the next steps together.
Jureal gave me my last two injections. She did it so well, I scarcely felt them. She is friendly and compassionate. A great job! It is an overall wonderful practice! Rosheen gave me my injection yesterday. She is skillful, kind, and extremely friendly.
Dr. Tehroni has wonderful bedside manners, is very knowledgeable and cares for your well being! The entire staff that I came across while there couldn't have been any nicer and professional and all spoke clearly. Thank you for a great experience being a new patient!
Finding a rheumatologist is hard enough. Finding one that actually listened to me and didn’t just waist my time and money having monthly appointments was even harder. I have been seeing Dr. Tehrani for 4 years now and my arthritis has remained in remission. We found what worked and she listens to me. Everyone in the office has always been helpful and pleasant and the office has a friendly feel, which makes me feel it is a good culture to work in as well.
