This place is awful. I took my son here for his 4 month check up and we will never come back. First of all, we showed up early for our appointment and were treated like a walk in; first come first serve. We proceeded to wait for another 30 minutes just for the doctor to even show up after his height and weight was taken. When the doctor did show up he was so loud it sent my son into a full blown meltdown. After waiting AGAIN to get his shots, we were finally on our way. What could have been a 15-30 minute apportionment turned into an hour and a half. This clinic is a joke.
If you have options to go anywhere else do it! Have a 8 week old. Waited 2 hours for shots. I was ONLY person there. Do you know how hard it is to wait with a newborn? I could here the three staff just joking and chatting whole time doing NOTHING. Its a joke.
This pharmacy customer service is horrible. The line is at least a 1-2 hour wait. If sailors aren’t a consistent work force then hire more contractors, not a good use of government dollars when the service members spend hours a day in line to get meds.
I was seen on time for my appointment. The Healthcare provider listened to all my concerns and I was able to be seen in the lab quickly. Everyone was very polite and explained the new systems in place. I was in and out in less than an hour.
If you have ANY other option, go there! This place is absolute trash. My sister came to her scheduled appointment just to check in, wait, be seen, just to be told the doctor no longer works there. So we decide to pick up a prescription from the drive through. The tech says someone cancelled it and needs to be ordered again. So we go inside and after being helped and waiting about 30 minutes the lady told us no more than 5 they say the prescription IS in and available at the drive through. 2 1/2 hours in smh
This clinic is an absolute joke. I scheduled a separation physical on January 12th and got an appointment for February 7th. The morning of the 7th came, and as I was sitting in the parking lot waiting for my appointment, my provider called to tell me I needed to reschedule the appointment because she doesn't do separation physicals. 1. Why did you wait 15 minutes before my appointment to tell me this? 2. Why was it scheduled with her to begin with? The lady at the desk told me they figured out who scheduled the appointment, and she'll get talked to. That isn't good enough for me. I had a flight scheduled tonight that can no longer be refunded because it's in less than 24 hours, so I'm losing a good amount of money thanks to the clowns that work here. Absolutely terrible reflection of the care our military receives, but it's not like this review will do anything because they don't care.
Waited 2 hours for pharmacy to give me my meds. Checked in and waited just for them to never come out. When i asked the receptionist what the hold up was he caught an attitude and said he wasnt the one who told me to wait in the first place
Pharmacy drive thru has not had long lines like one today. They need to have more people helping out to alleviate the line. Have been in line over 30 minutes and still have about 30 to go. Line wrapping back to front door of clinic. Unacceptable service. Not sure what has changed
Unfortunately Boone Clinic, like other military hospital facilities in this area is phasing out seeing its retired military and their dependents. It's a disservice to the armed service when you start dismissing those who sacrificed for this country by eliminating one of our main rights as military members. Those reading this please know you are just a few years away from this disparate treatment. So while you're ignoring it, your family will be next.
The pharmacy. The new "Q-Anywhere" process for activating phoned-in prescriptions which was supposed to reduce waiting times is not working. Folks who did all the back-and-forth texting and were given dates and "Q numbers" for pick-up are STILL sitting/standing in the pharmacy waiting hours for their Q numbers to be called to a window for pick up. Reason: Only two of the six service windows were open and dispensing meds. All the fancy technology in the world isn't going to overcome a pharmacy with few to no people filling the pill bottles. No khaki leadership on site. Only a couple of very hard-working E4/5's doing the best they can under the circumstances.
