This was an amazing shopping experience from the start, browsing at the store to the end, the delivery a few days later. Michael Hall, the sales associate , was very knowledgeable about the products and he guided us expertly and pressure free through the vast field of sofas/ sectionals options at the store in Daytona Beach. The delivery a couple days later was on time, professional and expedient . The products were expertly wrapped and in perfect condition. Having read some of the devastating reviews on this site, I feel compelled to share my experience. It‘s truly a luxurious experience to lounge in this swivel chair and the oversized chair and a half.
After spending thousands of dollars at this store, I can tell you I am done. I purchased a Catanzaro dual power recliner less than 2 years ago. The metal frame has split because they use cheap pot metal in their construction. When I call the store, the girl who picks up basically tells me there is a 1 year warranty, after I correct her and tell her its a 5 year warranty on recliner mechanisms per the Ashley website, she asks if I can hold and wait for a manager. I wait half an hour before I am hung up on. When I call back I get someone named Christian who sounds like he is in high school. He tells me that the manager is too busy and cant be bothered right now. What's the manager busy doing? Because its not solving my problem. If you want to come to Ashley and overpay for furniture, let it break on you, and have nobody take responsibility for it, then this is the place to waste your money. The only thing worse than their cheaply built furniture, is their customer service.
Salesman Matthew Meyer was very friendly, led me right to the type of furniture that I told him I was looking for, answered all my questions and quoted prices for all of the pieces of bedroom furniture that I was possibly interested in. When I had decided about a month later what I wanted to order, I called him, asked more questions and was able to place the order over the phone by credit card. It was an easy process.
Have not received my full order I purchased over a month ago. Salesman never followed up to ensure delivery. Poor communication with this store on particular. Happy with delivery on partial order.
This place felt so fun to look around I got lost looking at all the pretty setups. I ordered a dresser from here and was going to buy another one as well because I liked the pattern on it but it wasn’t big enough and the one I I was ordering was just a plain grey, the one I liked was like a snake skin looking black but it was a lot smaller.The dresser that got shipped to me must’ve been a mix up because I got the dresser I ordered but in the snake skin color I I didn’t even know it was possible. I’m super stoked and happy accidents do exist lol
Horrible experience!! Don’t be fooled, furniture looks good, but of poor quality. Way Over priced delivery charges. They encourage you to purchase things and if it doesn’t work in your home the way you intended to be they will pic it up without a question. All lies, the stuff just sits there forever crowding the spaces in your home within being picked up, and also in your credit account without refunds !!!! on top of that, t you’re also charged for delivery charges for pieces of furniture that you don’t want. We have called dozens or times always to be answered by some call center outside the country that they call “CORPORATE“ WHAT A JOKE!! We had to drive 45 minutes to the store to speak to some manager and arrive at NO SOLUTION !! We are being charged an extra grand ! WARNING save your self the heart ache and head ache , DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING AT THIS PLACE!!
We went to Ashley Store in Daytona Beach to furnish our new vacation home and the service we received was exceptional. Prices were reasonable and the whole process was actually pleasant. Our sales person, Chinwe, went out of her way to help us and was great. We highly recommend this store.
My experience was horrible! I received a mattress that wasn’t the one I chose. Delivery was horrible trashed my floors. Scraped my walls, as well as dented them. Didn’t put the items where instructed and left without me knowing. I was also told by Jonathan if I was unhappy with the comfort of my mattress I had 90 days to call to get it switched out. Customer service claim they will handle it and call back. They never did! So I called and nothing was notated. The mattress feels like I’m sleeping on concrete. Definitely not what I ordered. The delivery guy also scraped my ceiling with the headboard. My bed and nightstand is so close to the bathroom door. I hurt myself often trying to get around it. Oh and didn’t put any handles on the dressers. Unbelievable. They need to compensate for all the damage done to walls and ceiling immediately!!! EDIT- I’ve done everything possible to try and get this matter to be resolved. I have been disrespected, cursed out, hung up on. As well as ignored in between! I still have all the issues I listed above. And we’re now in September and there’s no changes . This company I wouldn’t suggest ever going there! I even went in the location and the supervisor Cedric cursed at me which lead me to come out of character. How dare he! It’s my money spent and I want what I paid for. I’ve even suggested they come and remove everything I no longer want to deal with them. At this point I will be taking legal action.
Salesman was Nick at the Daytona store. He greeted us when we arrived and walked us through the entire purchase. He was extremely knowledgeable found us exactly what we were looking for and completed the sale effortlessly. It was a enjoyable and stress free experience.
Sales person was very pushy, the furniture is nice although when it was delivered an set up it was defective, an not by the delivery guy’s. Ashley contacted me immediately an set an appointment for someone to come out and inspect the defective furniture and nobody showed.
