Description

We have a real passion for serving people and we are excited to be helping our neighbors during their time of heartache due to the loss of a pet.
Like most people, we know what it's like to love and lose a pet, and like most people we have experienced our fair share of poor customer service.

At Aspen Pet Cremation we are not looking to have satisfied customers--that's just not good enough for us. We hope that you walk out of our office comforted and confident that you and your pet were cared for with dignity and respect.

My dog of 12 years passed away in 2019. I found this place & had a great experience. Yesterday, our other dog passed away & I knew right away where I’d take him. This business is very personable. From the phone call, to the dropping off experience, to picking up, they made us feel very comfortable. They weren’t pushy with add on items & they referred to my dog by his name, instead of just saying “your dog”. When we dropped our pup off, they reassured us that he would be treated with respect, like he was their own dog. That really means a lot. This place makes you feel like they really care about you & your dog. I’m so grateful for this business, thank you!
They were very accommodating. Very helpful and understanding with the handling of the remains of our beloved family dog. To include our mourning process. We had actually planned to have the process handled by our vet, but do to a last minute urge we chose to do it ourselves. We brought the remains to them, and they prepared the body for one last viewing. We requested a pawprint be made and they obliged. Their front desk rep was even careful with every word she chose to not make anything sound hash or blunt. She tip toed her words making the whole process that much less hard for our family. Thank you
Helpful staff were able to comfort me and helped me feel reassured with leaving my best friend there. That is no small feat. The cat, Aspen, helped make the process feel lighter. Both cat and human are total pros. Wonderful and homey vibe from the facility. Costs and services were explained very transparently and easy to follow, which is helpful when it's the last thing you want to be thinking about. All my questions, from products to details about their services, was answered clearly. They treated my furbaby like family, which much dignity and respect. The engraving time turn around for my pet's cremation and urn was very quick. High quality products that are worthy of human remains, definitely helped me feel better about such a horrible time. If/when a furbaby should pass again, I'll feel more reassured knowing that Aspen Pet Cremations is available to give me beautiful options on products, while being compassionate. I'm very grateful for their support and advice during a very tough time.
My sweet girl, Cocoa was cremated by this company a few years ago. When doing so, I payed for them to take a paw print of her to have forever for my sons along with her remains. When we first got her ashes back, there was no paw print included with her, so of course I questioned that in tears and they were contacted immediately. Coming to find out, they not only forgot to take the paw print of Cocoa, they tried to pass another dog who had passed away, paw print off as hers. I honestly could not believe it and I am wondering how often this truly happens. We had our girl for a very long time and I immediately knew that was not her paw print. When questioned about this, with my girl already cremated, I was offered a charm. Considering I had 3 sons who wanted that paw print, there is no fixing something like this and LYING and trying to pass off another paw print labeled another dogs name on it, was totally inexcusable and HORRIBLE BUSINESS considering they do not offer many services and you need to properly care for our pets when we are trusting you to do so. You are not an honest company. How often are you sending that paw print home with other people when you make this mistake?
Friday was a very hard day for my family and I. We lost our beloved dog Rocky. I spoke with Ryan several times over the phone Friday night and he was very compassionate and kind. When we got there, we were treated warmly and given time to spend with Rocky in the private room in the back. We weren't pressured or rushed into anything. He explained everything to us and gave us our options. Even though it was a hard time our experience with Aspen Pet Cremations was absolutely amazing. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who asks. Aspen the cat was a very friendly and comforting girl. It's like she knew we were hurting and wanted to make us feel better. Thank you so much for everything. :
Great Facility! Loved Aspen the Cat. She gave us so much comfort and peace. They have moved locations from Blue Springs to Grain Valley, however, it is so worth the drive. Brand new building, great staff, and they treated my Ryder like royalty. I would recommend Aspen Pet Cremations to all who have to go through the loss of their beloved pet.
Aspen treats their customers like family. My pet died at home. He was part of my family for 20 years. After i brought my pet to them, they took Sid to a special room and placed him on a soft pillow where I could spend time with him before the cremation, I was even allowed to watch them place my animal in the crematory. They treat you and your animal family members with respect and dignity. The man that runs the business, Forrest Sim, made a plaster paw print cast for me. They have an amazing office cat named Aspen who is guaranteed to give you a meow, lots of purrs & hugs. I needed the smile she gave me. Overall, this business is 5 stars, making a very sad, difficult time a bit easier on my family through their genuine caring ways. Thank you, Forrest and Aspen the cat.
I have had 4 dogs creamated@ different locations. With my experience and opinion, there is no better place to do this very hard thing. Not only do they go above and beyond your needs.they really care!!!.A man named Forest helped me in my situation. He came in and stayed late to make sure I could have my dogs ashes that same evening to take with me. It was even his anniversary.Forest was awesome. He placed my shitzu on a beautiful pillow in a room to say your goodbyes and said take your time. They even have a viewing area where you can watch if you want to.So you can make sure that the ashes are truely your pet. With no extra fee, unlike Rolling Acres. I had my cocker spaniel creamated there. After I paid them in FULL. I asked if my girlfriend could watch to make sure it was the only dog.{my dog} They said yes for an extra 100.00. So I paid Then they said they could mail the ashes or come back to pick the ashes up in 3 to 5 days. It was an awful experience I will never forget. Bottom line Aspen Creamation is caring, has state of the art equipment, much more reasonable in price and for a very small fee,you can get a paw print and a clipping of hair of your special pet that is part of your family. It was a very sad time, but Aspen Creamations in Blue Springs Mo. made it special and we have her back.
They were so caring and professional. Treated my baby with so much respect. Even used her name, Razzle, when they called to tell me she was ready to be picked up.
Hours online say they are open til 5pm but I went to the door at 3:49pm and they were closed. When I called, no answer. I guess I'll drive to Rolling pets up north, very unprofessional, false advertising.
