Assisting Hands of Potomac was established with a few simple goals - To take the confusion out of home care decisions, reduce the stress and anxiety of family caregivers, and provide the best personal home care possible while honoring the dignity of our clients. Our caregivers are trained by experts in critical areas to ensure the safety and comfort of our clients. Supervised by a Registered Nurse, our home aides are Certified Nurses Assistants (CNA's), vetted, bonded and insured, as well as certified in CPR & First Aid, and trained in Hospice, Fall Prevention and Alzheimer's/Dementia. Our care is provided in the home, hospital or assisted living facility; to seniors, those recovering from surgery or hospitalizations, as well as respite care for family members. There is no minimum or maximum time limits - Care can be as little as 2 hours a week, full time, or live-in. Assisting Hands of Potomac is a family owned and operated business with hands-on involvement and experience.
