We are delighted to be chosen to host the 22nd Biennial Congress 2018 and to welcome all Enterostomal Therapists & Nurses around the world to meet and discuss issues in Enterstomal Therapy Nursing.
With great pleasure we welcome you to our WCET 22nd Biennial Congress 2018 to be held in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 14th April 2018 – 18th April 2018.
The Organising Committee has put in great efforts to plan an interesting programme for the benefit of everyone. Common day-today conditions as well as specialized areas in Enterostomal Therapy Nursing shall be covered in this congress.I am extremely honoured to be the Chairman for the Local Organizing Committee and together with my team we promise you are memorable congress full with excitement, knowledge and great networking for all.
The theme that has been chosen is very accurate to our country, Malaysia – “Ethnocentric challenges in Nursing Care”. The theme that has been chosen is our way in evaluating and respect to other peoples and cultures according to the standards of one's own culture. Our country’s culture is a combination of three main races, i.e. Malay, Chinese, Indian, Over half of the populations in Malaysia are Islam. Other religions practiced in the country are Buddhism, Christianity, Daoism, Hinduism and Sikhism. The national language of the country is Bahasa Malaysia. Other languages practiced in the country are English and Malay slang words, which are spoken in the urban areas.
We look forward to hosting the 22nd Biennial Congress 2018 in Kuala Lumpur and hope to attract many delegates from all over the world to attend this exciting conference!
