My mother in laws grave was covered in cemet and we go monthly not to mention we walk around and give the flowers we have left over to others l0ved ones. My 11yr old had to see a tombstone sunken inside of the ground with just a bit of dirt covering the casket. Can you imagine that being your loved one. The news needs to get on it. Trash everywhere, tombstones lying against trees that were there the week before, graves completely covered. Absolutely horrible! And don't expect the owners to do anything they won't return your phone call. I reported that sunken grave over 3 weeks ago and it's still like that.
Paid for bench and headstone two yrs ago. Never received. Barely got a refund after months of trying to get hold of anyone on phone. When I finally got a hold of someone they said they would check up and call back. Of course they never did. Weekly calls were unanswered and we finally gave up. Please don't bother here. Such a headache. There's hidden fees , unreliable staff, limited road space, unmaintained grounds, constant changing of the policies. We tried to keep our family as close as possible and that's why we chose here. So sad we will have to consider a new place .
I ordered, paid, and approved my moms headstone 1 year ago, and its was never installed. I called and spoke with Rose, and she stated that they had some confusion with the approval. I did the approval again.. that was in January.. and still no head stone. I have e-mailed but received no response. This place looks so unkept.. I wish I hadn't chosen this place to be my mothers final resting place. I guess it is time to get an attorney...
My grandma has been deceased for three yrs already and we can’t get a headstone still cause assumption jacks people around. I wish we never used this disgraceful place. Money hungry
Assumption cemetery should be ashamed of themselves. Beer cans/ bottles everywhere. Trash. Broken headstones leaning against trees and other headstones. Graves so close together I don't see how they can dig another grave plot next to it with out disturbing another burial plot, vases broken, cars parking on top of graves. No one answers the phone. Weeds and grass in some areas as tall as up to my knees, covering up headstones and benches, dirt covering up headstones that are flat on the ground. Broken trees limbs everywhere. Sunken graves. Should get a negative 100 stars.
Trash everywhere, grass up to my mid calf, my daughter’s Tun done has been moved, then what made me the angriest is when I saw a bunch of tombstones thrown by the back gate all broken up. I am so upset with this new management. My daughter was only a month old when she passed away almost 20years ago and this cemetery was very well taken care of if not you go to the office and they fixed it within the same week. This is so sad that they are not taking care of peoples loved ones. I’m going to looking into how to report them to higher sources, maybe even call the new stations this is not right at all. I am also trying to figure out how to post the pictures of while I was there
My sister was buried here in 1976. When our father passed away I have his ashes buried in my sister plot so they would be together. I buried my father August 2022, he was a USAF Veteran. I sat there with the Director Paul Krotzer and filled out paperwork to order my father military headstone. Long story short, Paul didn’t order it. Paul left 2 weeks ago. I just lost my Stepfather last month and I’m moving to Virginia to take care of my mother. This means I’ll never get to see my fathers headstone. The people in the office thinks this is no big deal. They don’t care about how their actions, the lack of accountability, their incompetence hurt the families that are buried in their cemetery. The inside of the office is disgusting, not cleaned, disorganized, and they are still hiding behind a Covid 19. The grounds are unkept, and I’m a retired Horticulturalist. THE OFFICE STAFF ARE THE RUDEST PEOPLE I’VE EVER DEALT WITH.
8 months now, my wife's head stone has been on order. Can't get answers on phone and they will not return calls they won't even Answer the door when I drove there from East Texas.
I wish I could give a negative five star. This place need to be sued just like a slumlord . They're quick to take your money but fail to do any up keep !!! I've spoken with ROSE A NUMBER OF TIME REGARDING TRASH IN THE AREA WHERE MY PARENTS ARE EVEN SPOKE TO THE GUY THAT CLAIMS HES THE GROUND KEEPER MANAGER WELL IMAGINE THIS THREE MONTHS HAVE PASSED TRASH STILL HERE !!! THIS PLACE NEEDS BETTER OWNERSHIP AND NEW STAFF
I can’t believe how you people treat people that have love ones there. Communication is awful! None professional and leaving love ones hanging.
