Policies:
1.Outside containers are required for burial, either a vault or concrete box only.
2.Funeral flowers will remain for 45 days. Fresh flowers will be discarded as
necessary. Suggestion: Families could take most of the artificial flowers home and use them to swap out as needed to prevent them from being discarded.
3.To aid the caretaker in the maintenance of the property, all flower arrangements and decorations must be placed ON the headstones or within 4 inches of the headstone.
4.No benches are allowed unless they are used as a headstone.
5.No barriers of any kind are allowed to section off graves. Nothing is to be placed on the grave, outside the 4 inches from the headstone.
The Old Austin Cemetery Board has elected to require the use of the pavilion for all committal services. The pavilion can accommodate more people than the customary tent and is on a concrete slab. The pavilion has three rows of benches and a bier.
Grave/Lot is $300 each
