I had a great experience with this practice. Upon referral from my main OBGYN, I had to reschedule my first appointment that was made for me. The office staff was very friendly and accommodating and remained so throughout all my encounters with them. The clinical staff, including Dr. Rosemond, was great as well and made sure I was comfortable and well informed. I highly recommend this practice to anyone needing specialized prenatal care.
The doctors are great but this review goes to the receptionist. My daughter kindly asked for 2 masks once it is required in this facility And the receptionist said no! She just provided one to my daughter, we apologize and explained that we didn't have an extra and she again said, no I will provide only one. She could be polite and explain the reason but she just didn't want to help.
Great doctor! Visited in 2 pregnancies with my diabetes! Highly recommend this doctor's office! Oh and to previous posts I was allowed a support person before covid and come on girls it's only for a few minutes not a big deal!!!! And the appointments are long because YOU are at this doctor for a reason he is a specialist and darn good at that. Let's face it if your pregnancy was"normal" or your doctor didn't have any concerns you wouldn't be there so understand it's a high tide doctor's office
I had to be seen quite often to monitor my high risk pregnancy with my first child. Dr Rosemond was awesome and explained my condition well and never made me feel like I should be scared. It was because of him and his wonderful staff that I didn't freak out when I was diagnosed with a bicornuate uterus and stress about all of the things that *could've* went wrong but never did, thank God!. All of the techs there were so sweet and always made it feel personal which I loved. They knew me by name and would conversate with me while doing the ultrasound and they explained everything they were looking for and made me feel really involved. I am now pregnant with my 2nd child and I have my anatomy scan coming up and I'm so excited to see everyone again! I went to two different specialists during my 1st pregnancy and while the other one was great, I still preferred Dr. Rosemond and his staff over any other office I've been to! Other than my regular obgyn office, ofcourse! Love them too!
Absolutely garbage place. My wife went in for an ultrasound and I'm not allowed to go in because of Covid. Completely understandable... But then they don't allow you to video call or even use the phone while getting the ultrasound. And to top that off they try to sell you the video of your ultrasound to make a buck. If you're thinking about using this place, don't. Ask your doctor to send you to a different imaging place. Despicable practice.
I was worried about this experience with all the complications my wife’s pregnancy has had, but the staff at Athens maternal did their best to make her comfortable and to answer all of her our questions. Although I wasn’t allowed to go back with her, due to the pandemic, she said she was very pleased with the staff ,Dr. Rosemond, and how everything went. Under these circumstances I would definitely recommend Athens Maternal Fetal Medicine.
They use COVID to discriminate against husband's hearing their child's heartbeat. But if its "bad news" suddenly its safe for a support person to enter. Its discrimination. Call it what you want.
I loved Dr Rosemond. Very professional. All the employees are very kind and thoughtful. The office is nice and clean and the equipment is new and top of the line.
Beside the fact you can’t have a support person with you. You have to wait EXTREMELY long for your appointment. They have no respect for your time.
