We are a family campground, situated on 97 acres with 4000 feet of the beautiful Maitland River. Located just North East of Goderich on Country Rd 25. We offer family camping, cabins, spacious serviced and unserviced sites, Elk Paddock, and nature trails, clean pool, great fishing, children's playground, planned activities, and Barbecues. Open May 1 - October 15 every year.

What a great place to camp at! They have everything you need. Kids loved it. Jumping pillow, swimming pool, play park, river etc. Its very clean and well maintained. Staff is very friendly and very accomodating. Will go here every year for sure.

Recently fished a race here.  There were a lot of on-site showers and bathrooms.  Cool little park with an awesome bouce pad/dome feature.  Pool.  Fall colors were in full effect.  Lots of room and great trails for walking, running and exploring.

What a great place! My husband and 2 grand kiddo's spent a week. Lots for them to do there. The air bag really kept the boys entertained. Francine thanks for all the help you are the best. Thanks to the rest of the staff as well. Sorry that we missed Steve.

This was our first ever camping trip and  Auburn Riverside Retreat made it a memorable one! The staff went above and beyond to assist us with our reservation and when we had a problem with our trailer. The grounds were amazingly clean and neat, everyone was friendly and the park was quiet and relaxing. Not all transient sites are the same, but ours was huge and easy to access. Washrooms/showers were clean and well-maintained. Lots to see and do! We are definitely coming back!

This campground sure passed my expectations. Very good service and a good price. I had one of their "group/ over flow spots" which was very nice and had lots of privacy and it surprised me that I had my own view of the mainland creek and electrical hook up which some campgrounds don't have. The washrooms and showers were always clean and tidy. Lots of trails to take walks on. The general store that they had was very nice. I am definitely going to be making plans to go back again.

This is just what our family, and extended family needed! We had a fun and relaxing time at Auburn riverside retreat. The ‘lazy river’ is a must with and without the kiddos - scenic, soothing, and unique. Great addition this year was the blowup pillow. Kids and parents alike spent a hours bouncing away and making new friends. The kids loved a chance to cool off in the pool after spending time bouncing, playing horse shoes, and riding their bikes. The large campsite was perfectly situated near the camp activities, amenities, and river launch. The group site  was large, clean, and staff on site were very personable and friendly. An overall great experience, and we look forward to our return next year!

This is definitely the place to stay. Very clean park with a large variety of very big transient sites. Our 41' fifth wheel fit easily with lots of extra room. We visited the town of Goderich nearby as well as spent much time just relaxing while tubing down the river. Did it 4 times during our stay. The staff Steve & Francine that we had the pleasure of meeting seemed to be very friendly and accommodating. Francine certainly made us feel right at home. We look forward to visiting again the next time in that area.

Absolutely  an amazing  experience  yet again.   This is our 3rd year going and every year we are blown away by the hospitality.  Sam and Mikayla went above and beyond to make sure yet again we enjoyed our experience.    The tubing is amazing, the pool and the bouncy pillow are so much fun.    We are beyond shocked every year how clean this campground is for all the people coming through.    Can't wait to go back next year.    Love this hidden gem

I absolutely love this campground. The service we have received over the years has been amazing. The staff are friendly and have always gone above and beyond for us. The sites are a nice size and the facilities are always clean. Great spot for floating down the river and relaxing!! Thanks for providing a stress free retreat for us every time we camp!!

Absolutely perfect weekend! Campsite was spacious and clean. Facilities were clean and there were lots of them! Kids spent a ton of time in the pool and the icing on the cake was feeding apples to the elk! We will definitely be back again!
