Stacilyn Blanks was the best, our ladies trip need to upgrade when we landed for all our luggage would fit in the car we had rented- with a blink we were on our way in a Jeep- Thanks for all the help!!!
Super easy to work with, fantastic staff and a great selection of rentals. All the girls behind the desk were super nice, special shout out to Kierra for answering all our questions and being so professional from start to finish. If you call, ask for Kierra she’s the best!
Had a great experience renting from here. Very friendly and great service from Stacy. Also received a ride to the airport after return. Highly recommend.
I received outstanding service from Auto Rental Etc this past week. Their representative and management were very friendly and the rental car was clean inside/outside. It was a very pleasant experience from start to finish. I definitely plan to utilize this service again in the future and I encourage family and friends to do the same.
I had a great experience here. The staff is friendly and professional. They picked me up at the airport quickly and had me registered and off in the car in a flash. I'm sure it was just as quick, perhaps quicker, than using the number of rental services right there at the airport which, as I observed, each had long lines. The car was clean and ran great. The return was easy, and they drove me back to the airport - 2 minutes away. When you land, though, do NOT walk over to the car rental building. Instead, step out through the doors you use for walking over there but just stay at those doors. Call Auto Rental for a pick-up. They'll tell you where to go stand to wait. It's basically straight ahead of you, on an island between two roads right there in front of the terminal. The small roads for dropping off and picking up aren't busy, so getting to the island is easy.
Car renters beware!!! If I could leave 0 stars, I would. This company tries to rip off customers by claiming damage to vehicles that never occurred more than 24 hours after being returned and paperwork being completed, charging your credit card for damages prior to contacting you for resolution. Considering that they stated the windshield was cracked when they called 26 hours after I returned the car, the person who checked the car and then moved it around the building should have immediately stated that there was a problem so that it could be resolved as it would have been blatantly obvious that it was cracked. I have a witness, their verbal word that the car was fine, the receipt, and pictures... If you rent from Green Motion Car and Van Rental or any affiliate of theirs, make sure to take photographic evidence of every inch of the vehicle inside and out both when renting and returning; ensure that you and the agent walk through the car inspection together, documenting all problems, again before and after; then after all of that, make sure to get signed & dated documentation showing that there are no issues before walking out of the building, making sure to hold onto all pictures/paperwork for an extended period of time just in case.
Ty is a very caring guy. He made it so easy for me to get a rental at a time of need and even arranged to drop me off at work when I was done with the car. The cars are clean and brand new. He is very helpful and will even work with you on pricing if needed to. I will always use auto rental etc in the future. It was the best experience I ever had renting a vehicle.
They helped me upgrade to a larger vehicle after finding my family was too big for an economy vehicle. The full size SUV was much better and I greatly enjoyed the time away for the holidays, which wouldn't have been possible without a rental car. They had the best rate for 12 days and I was very satisfied.
I rented a vehicle for the weekend via Priceline from a company named Thrifty for pickup at the Airport rental center. While standing in line I received a call from Ray Mosley stating he was from Green Motion and he asked me if I was at the baggage claim. I told him no and that my prepaid reservation said it was for Thrifty. He told me he would pick me up and explain it to me. Ray Mosley of Auto Rental Ect. told me in order to list his rentals on Priceline he had to say he was with Thrifty, but that he is in fact with affiliated with Green Motion and the company name is ARE. I asked Mr. Mosley how I was supposed to get back to the airport on Sunday. Since I thoroughly prepared I was upset that they advertised that they was located at the airport rental facility and they are not. He stated that I could pay another car rental company twenty dollars, have it billed to my account or take an Uber. Mr. Mosley then informed me they didn’t have any type of vehicle I rented so I would have to upgrade. I signed the paperwork anxious to just get on with it and go on my way. Even though, Mr. Mosley seemed dishonest and shady I was trying my to stick to my carefully arranged plans. . Before taking possession of the vehicle he gave me a phone number said if you break down call I don’t think you will break down we just had it serviced. He seemed a little unsure. He then said the car just came back he inspected the outside but he was in a hurry and didn’t look on the inside. Before I left he said there are two rules fill the gas back up and no smoking. As soon as I got in the car I noticed that the gas was at a half a tank and the car stunk. I was driving back to my hotel the front of the suv was making a horrible noise. I was worried about being stranded On my 3 day weekend getaway so I parked the vehicle at my hotel and didn’t want to drive it until I went back to the Airport. On the way back to the airport I called the number to inform them about the issues with the car. After calling the number provided and no answer I called Green Motion. They informed me that I would need to Speak with ARE. So anyway I dropped the car off made my way back to the airport. When I got home I noticed that ARE took my deposit. I called to find out why they told me I smoked in the car which I did not. I did however spray it with perfume because it had a a terrible smell. I tried to reach out to the company and have the situation resolved. Since they seem unwilling to do anything except tell lies and take peoples money I thought I would go ahead and leave a review to warn people of the shady business practices I encountered with this company. STAY AWAY form this place unless you don’t mind customer disservice. It don’t just look like a dump they are deceitful and fraudulent.
I’ve been trying to think of how to dissuade someone from renting with AutoRentalETC/Green Motion but any time I try to put a well formed thought onto paper, I insert some sort of expletive or crass comment. I want this to be read and considered for it’s merit, not because I’m angry and exhausted which I am. How much more was that car rental from Enterprise or Thrifty, 20$? Do it. Had I known the physical and emotional energy I was going to put into this rental, I would have paid the $300 it would have cost for me to book a last minute car with another company for the weekend. The reasons are below: 1. The rental company - First, the company you’re booking with isn’t clear. AutoRentalETC vs Green Motion. My contract with Priceline said Green Motion and my printout said Green Motion but the person who helped me stapled a card that said AutoRentalETC. The building, if you want to call it that, has both AutoRental ETC and Green Motion signs. So I’m reviewing both. 2. When I got to New Orleans around 6pm, Green Motion cites that there is a shuttle to call to bring you to the site. I called repeatedly for a half hour and no response. This was a little unnerving, as they close at 7pm according to their website. I finally got a call back saying that they were indeed expecting me; they asked I get on the airport shuttle to the rental car center. It was at the rental car center that I was picked up by a Green Motion van and taken to their site they are not part of the rental car center. As a woman traveling solo I thought, “this is how people get abducted.” If I had more money, I would have stayed at the rental car center and just asked what they had available. - When I got to the center, where I was informed that the only car available was a Honda Accord, a downgrade from my pre-paid SUV. I asked what sort of discount I could expect and they said they would take it up with the general manager, Eric spoiler alert: that didn’t happen 3. The car - Smokey stacked with the scent of air freshener - we dealt with it, wasn’t completely awful. - The gas is filled up half way. They actually do this purposefully and ask you to bring the car back with half a tank as well. It’s done so that customers will either just fill it up past half way free gas or not fill it up enough charge for gas. It’s not the easiest to hit the half-way mark but I think I managed it. - Return - they are closed on Sundays as well as after 2pm Sat and 7pm any other days of the week so you just park the car and put the keys in the drop box. The issue was because they are closed on Sundays, we had to get a Lyft to the airport from there ~$10. 4. The aftermath - Remember that discount I asked to receive for getting a sedan instead of an SUV?Enter hell. - I called Green Motion, who didn’t answer multiple times. So then I spoke with Priceline; I went through two ~20 minute ordeals, both ending with them unable to reach Green Motion. They filed a claim, stating that they would get back to me once they’re able to reach Green Motion. A few days later, I got an email saying that Green Motion told Priceline it was actually an upgrade, so no discount would be provided. - I called Priceline - all they had to go on was that someone at Green Motion told them it was an upgrade, and that they would be supporting this. I spoke with the supervisor and he recommended I call Green Motion - Finally spoke with Eric manager, who said he would “look over it,” and offer a credit or something, as it was indeed a downgrade. I’m so confident that I won’t be followed up with or receive a reimbursement that I’m writing this review. Honestly any more time spent on this joke of a company is not worth it.
