It was a amazing experience! There was a bit of a wait but it feel like the line moved really fast because of the beautiful scenery around the queuing area! Even on the inside Disney really went all out and you feel like you are really there! Wow!! What a amazing experience it was!! It’s the best ride in the animal kingdom park… although the wait time is always high for stand by entrance during weekend but it’s worth the wait…also the place gives you a feeling like you are in pandora…so there is lots of things to do and observe when you’re standing in the line…I hope you all have a amazing and enjoyable experience in this ride.

This ride is so cool. It's truly an experience that you have to see for yourself. You get on a stationary bike sort of seat which vibrates and simulates riding on the birds from avatar. You experience smells as well mists of water along with gusts of wind when you are on it. It really feels like you are flying.

If you're looking for an immersive, 3D ride experience at Animal Kingdom, Avatar Flight of Passage is a must-do. You'll feel like you're flying on a banshee as you explore the world of Pandora. Just be prepared to wait in line - the line for this ride can be incredibly long. Dope ride and worth the wait. They changed some parts since the 2nd film came out. I’d recommend going super early as soon as they open to get a wait time under 2 hours. What an interesting phenomenon. Thousands of people paying hundreds of dollars to stand in a line for an hour to experience an adrenaline rush for 4 and a half minutes, repeat. But Avatar is worth the wait! Even waiting is designed with gorgeous rock formations, plants, sounds, it becomes part of the experience. The ride itself is beyond imagining. Each person sits in their own pod and the doors come open to the glorious world of Avatar. A huge screen in front of you makes you believe you are flying and 3D glasses bring your belief into reality. You will want to go again immediately!

Make sure if you go on this ride you have a "proper" face mask. I was wearing a neck gaiter style mask and was told I couldn't go on the ride. I asked them for a face mask and they said they didn't have any and that I could buy one in the gift shop. I did not see any signage or any information anywhere telling me I couldn't wear this style mask. I went to Magic Kingdom the previous day and was there for over 9hrs going on all the rides and experiences wearing the same neck gaiter mask and no one said anything to me about it. This was upsetting to me. It seems every which way Disney can make a buck off its guests it will do it. Anyway, I used the lightening pass for this ride so I only had to wait in line for about 10min. The ride starts out with about 12 people in a room listening to a fake orientation video that last about 5min. Then you walk into another room and continue the fake orientation for another few minutes. Then you finally get into the ride area and you sit on a motorcycle like seat and put 3D glasses on and "fly" on a banshee. It's actually pretty cool and feels real. I liked the actual ride part of this experience, but I didn't like the fake orientation part. The orientation was unnecessary and boring. I'd recommend this ride and go on it again.

The ride, which is similar to Soaring is great and relies heavily on the huge 3D screen but Disney could clean and improve the glasses. Hard to focus and dirty glasses make the experience not easy to remember. Wow. Talk about fantastic. This ride is definitely a must do at Animal Kingdom. Hands down worth it. If you can get a lightning pass, by all means. But waiting in line, it's still worth it. Disney did a Great job creating the world of Avatar. Fantastic !!!!! If you're a true kid at heart this ride will not disappoint. Every single detail is a transport vehicle to the world of James Cameron.
