Awesome customer service!  My car was recently stolen and this location went over and above to assist me. Great experience

Absolutely worst Avis location I’ve ever been to and not worthy of being part of the brand. Super rude staff unapologetically admitted to giving the minivan I had reserved for the family away to someone else by accident.  They put me in an SUV instead, which would have been fine except that the SUV reeked of smoke and we have a child with chronic lung disease.  The store advertises their 100% no smoking policy conspicuously at the door.  The staff acknowledged that people return smokey cars all the time and they charge them a $450 fee, but the franchisee just pockets the fee without performing any special cleaning. Even at my request in light of our son’s issues, they refused to perform or pay for any kind of interior cleaning, let alone put me in a different car.  Thanks to the friendly Avis 800 number agent, who kindly agreed to issue a 50% refund. This didn’t cover the cleaning I ended up having done entirely, but is appreciated nevertheless compared to the location’s complete and utter unhelpfulness and rudeness.  Rent anywhere but here when in the Rochester area!

Crystal is the embodiment of great and friendly customer service. She puts the needs of the customer first and knows her business inside & out. There was a complex issue with my reservation and she sorted it out swiftly and in a professorial manner

Our dec 24th flight from rochester was canceled on friday 23rd so i reserved a car with Avis to pick up at this location at noon on the 24th with a one way to Albany. They are open until 1pm on christmas eve. At 11:50am THE DOOR WAS LOCKED. NO BODY SHOWED UP FOR WORK.  After 30 minutes on hold, Avis rebooked the reservation to the henrietta office. It gets better. We got there at 12:45. Their door was locked too. At 12:55 as i finally get an agent on the phone, we see the employee sneak out the door and close it. We told we had been waiting, its still not close time. She says too bad, shes going home and shes not opening up again. SHE SHOULD BE FIRED FOR LOCKING THAT DOOR, LEAVING EARLY, AND STRANDING A CUSTOMER.  I dont recall being that mistreated before anywhere. No compassion even on christmas eve. Thanks avis. Its been wonderful being a 'preferred' customer.

The agent at this location was not available in a timely fashion when I picked up and dropped off the car. The store is unattended for long periods of time. I like Avis and will continue to use Avis just not from this location.

Great friendly and professional staff. I was in and out with a great car. Will definitely be using them again.

Extremely fast and efficient on my visit!
