I rented from Avis for a work assignment. When I arrived, the employee was helping other customers and asked me if I was picking up or returning. I replied picking up and he stated that he may be out of cars. A gentlemen then came in to return a vehicle. After the employee finished with his current customer he helped the gentleman return the car; he then handed me a set of keys and told me which vehicle. When I went outside, my husband who drove me to Avis, said that a man just returned the car I was given and no one has cleaned or disinfected the vehicle. I went back into Avis and told the employee; who was sitting in the customer waiting area looking at his phone, stated that the last car I returned was dirty and he could have charged me to have it cleaned and insinuated that I had kids in the car. I told him that I only use the car for work and no one else had driven in the car and all trash is removed at the end of each day. The employee went outside to retrieve the car. My husband later told me that when he came out to get the car he was mumbling and sped off making the tires screech. The employee vacuumed the car, no other cleaning was done. The building is set up so that you can see through a glass as it is being cleaned. He then brought the car back around, again at a fast speed making the tires screech. The car that I received was not checked for new dents or dings after the returning customer nor was the return mileage checked. I did take a video of the inside and outside prior to leaving the lot; as well as noting the fuel level. I will not rent from this location again and I may not rent from any Avis again.

I would honestly never rent from Avis again. Had to call customer support who were able to help the little they're allowed to 3 separate times for the outstanding amount of issues I had. Both cars rented were in poor condition with multiple dashboard lights on. Even taking them back to the locations to switch them out was a waste of my time and money.

Thank you for the quick update on my next rental car. It is getting better than it was a few months ago. I am giving Avis 4 stars today. I will continue to use your service. "As a business rental company, I do not understand why Avis cannot provide the ordered car as shown online. I ordered a Toyota Camry; instead, the vehicle provided was a used car Chrysler Touring Sedan. The back wheel spun on itself, which caused me to drive slowly during the trip to Minnesota. My wife and I almost died with this rental car during a storm on the road in Iowa; the vehicle spun on itself and did not maintain the road. No more renting this type of vehicle in the future. I will give Avis another chance to be a faithful customer. Next time, I hope to receive the car that I have ordered."

Dirtbags charged me for an extra day.their system was down so they wrote me a paper contract. Returned the vehicle when the paper contract stated and they charged me for a other day then lied to my bank when I disputed the charge. Hertz is way better

Didn't have my vehicle and drove all over the nearby areas to pick up my car and then when I finally got to the 3rd location they wouldn't rent the vehicle to me as I didn't have a valid credit card and wasn't told that prior to renting a car and then had the run around for several hours. I feel like I should get compensated for my time and also fuel in my vehicle I was using as I was having to travel out of town for several days, and the vehicle I own isn't that reliable.

Friendly and knowledgeable service both at pick up and return. Vehicle was perfect. We would happily return to Avis the next time we need a rental vehicle.

Don't get a Chevy spark. I couldn't adjust neck rest on seat back & it pushed my head forward. Seat belt was tight around my throat. Barely enough space to get my thighs between steering wheel & seat. Steering wheel blocked view of any mph reading beyond 40 mph, so I had to squish down in seat to read mph. Some functions--even for operating radio and headlights -- weren't intuitive so I had to read manual. Agent was not helpful.

I went to pick up the car.  It was not ready.  It was not vacuumed or washed and the oil had not been changed.  They had only one agent working and so the care was not given as it should have been as he was suppose to wash, vacuum, and detail cars, plus answer phones and take care of customers.  There has to be a better place to rent from.

Pretty bad experience for me. Was told I would get a 4 Runner or comparable. I got a dirty Chevy Equinox that smelled bad on the interior. Interior was dirty. Car had a couple of dents in it. The pick up employees did not go over the car with me. I had to point out the deficiencies myself. Not a great look for what I thought was a good company.

First I was told my credit card was not accepted even though it was a Chase credit card. Then I was told about charges that were not specified on the website. Then to make matters worse the associate talking to me treated me like I was beneath him. To make matters worse the associate refused to help find a solution to the problem. Last time I ever try to rent from Avis.
