Shout out to Jeff at the Hastings location! He is always so kind and helpful, and greets every customer. You can tell he really cares about the work he does. I like this location and the store is always clean and well-maintained.
The store was clean. Almost everything was priced fairly. The wait to checkout was not long. I wish I knew they did not have bags while I was there. I would have brought my own.
Updating review 6/3: have had two instances this week where items were not rung up correctly. Didn’t notice until I got home and when I went back was told they didn’t know how to do it without being able to scan the tag I had already taken the tags off. They run sales all the time and manually have to adjust prices but the cashiers don’t pay close enough attention when ringing you up. I feel quite positive that every point of sale system allows you to type in an item number or barcode that shows on the receipt. Not sure if this is a training issue or lack of care. Beginning to think that overcharging people and hoping they don’t notice is their way of making extra money… Waiting to hear back from corporate. Original review: Staff is always kind and helpful. Decent prices on most things, but some items seem more expensive than the regular retail. Watch your receipts too… two times now I’ve been charged more than the price on the tag and two times I’ve been charged for items I didn’t purchase. The staff has fixed it for me when I went back, but it shouldn’t have happened in the first place. While I was in today the employee fixing my issue answered the phone and she told me that the person who called had the same problem as I did. A few other reviews say the same thing and I’ve talked to multiple friends that have had the same problems. Not sure how this happens to so many customers…
Updated review as I wanted to give this store another chance. I have stopped 3-4 different times and each time has been about the same. The store itself, products, and prices are all great! Tons of cute high quality items! They have sales often but when you check out you can't see the price of anything being scanned. This causes a HUGE problem. The whole checkout process is a mess. Nothing rings up the correct price, cashiers can't tell if they have rang things up, and if you try to read the receipt it's like trying to figure out a secret code. No products have the actual names or departments which causes another problem for everyone because again cashiers can't figure out if they rang items up and customers can't tell if they were charged correctly. Obviously this is losing the store money. Most/all cashiers have to try to count the items you have and what they have already scanned and when they forget to do this I've had twice where they ask for my bags to go through them to rescan or count. You will spend at least 30 minutes just waiting to check out if not more. Since the customers can't see what the prices are often the cashiers forget to mark down the appropriate items from the current sales. I had this happen twice at different visits. The first time I did not notice until home and the second time I showed the cashier Kerry, she just shrugged her shoulders and looked at me. I ended up leaving without having this corrected to save grace. Every time I have been to the store Kerry is very rude to customers and to the other cashiers. Twice I have been waiting in line for 30+ minutes and she will take one customer then sit there and wait a good five minutes to have someone go to her register. She makes it very clear she does not want to be there or is too good to be there. It's one thing to need to restock or things like that but that's not the case. So moral of the story? 1. One go if you have a ton of time to sit at check out. 2. Triple check your receipts. For correct charges. 3. Stay away from Kerry. 12/9/2022 - Redemption!! Stopped by tonight with some friends and everyone was so friendly. Finally I did not have to wait 30+ minutes in line to check out.. I spoke with a younger male with a mullet, Aaron, and another gal working the front counter and they were all very helpful. Such a difference since the last few attempts at this location. The store was very tidy and the employees seemed much more comfortable. Maybe it was just the mad rush and new store learning curve. Kudos to the progress.
Your new store is nice....great variety! You need to keep people off your furniture so people can see it. One guy was sitting having coffee and two guys were sitting playing with their phones....couldn't see the furniture...

I love shopping here the store is so nice and clean. The new manager really made this place alot better! I feel bad tho because some of the employees have been really rude and careless. Seems like the bad ones have recently been moved tho. The store I great and most the people are friendly! Love the manager he's always so helpful and I usually spend more money in the store because of his sense of fashion and ability to pick out cute outfits! Would love to see a few more smiling faces like his working there! But not everyone is that nice!
Great shop. Good prices. Awesome staff. More women's clothing than men's, but we're not as picky. Always leave with things I didn't plan on picking up.
I love the store. Always organized well and welcoming. Always a new experience every time I go. You never know what you will find. I have gotten some excellent deals on Sketchers and Fila Shoes. I get my workout gear here as well. It's the only place in Hastings to get name brand clothing - especially for men.
Different verity of things, always something different. Prices can be more than expected but some stuff is good priced. People are friendly. They was asking "you" if you wanted to buy a bag for your merchandise, if you don't want one then you just carry your stuff.. but other than that I love how they get different things in, they never know what their going to get.
